What a feast! I've never tasted creamier cheesecake. And their muffins are to die for. You can't leave without tasting their scrumptious coconut cake. At magnolias we were truly spoilt for choice. Awesome!

I tried four Magnolia Bakeries in New York (got a little addicted) and this one as my favourite. The banana cupcakes are to die for, the staff are nice and the setting is gorgeous, not so crowded and in a more charming location. They also do things to the highest standards.

So many good choices, we got carried away. Cute service people with a great sense of humor for the guilty pleasures clients. Delicious delicacies but not inexpensive.

always a perfect stop before boarding your train. I prefer the cake slices (hummingbird is my favorite) to the cupcakes, but that's just me. The cupcakes are also delicious and pretty. Stop by and have a slice of cake for your train ride home!

Wanted to go the bakery that Sex and the City made famous. Was impressed with the delicious smells as soon as I walked in and the cleanliness of the place. Was hard to decide what to choose as everything looked gorgeous but I went for a chocolate cupcake with vanilla flavoured green icing...it was lovely! Staff were friendly and efficient,... More

During my last trip to NY, I decided I was going to try every red velvet cupcake from the top reviewed places I've read about. So I did. And I have to say, Magnolia's red velvet cupcake is by far the best one you can find in Ny. And I'm willing to go back just to have one more. Or... More

This was the second time going to Magnolia bakery because I enjoyed everything that I had from there . The chocolate and vanilla banana pudding plus the lemon coconut cake were so delicious . The place is busy so expect to stay in line at any location, but you will not going to be disappointed. Great dessert and great place... More

We had been looking forward to sampling the much hyped cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery. However pretty the cases of confections were, we felt the taste was in fact all hype. Average cupcakes that I would not really seek out again. The banana pudding though? Oh my god... I would gladly get fat off that stuff. My advice is to skip... More

After hearing plenty of good reports regarding magnolia bakery we decided to make this a stop off after a lovely day downtown. It was a mid afternoon visit and there are extreme chaos, no clear way to queue and to order, rude abrupt staff with shocking attitudes. We brought 4 pieces of cheesecake to go and ate it on return to... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
