Came here after reading about this place on TripAdvisor this morning for breakfast. Waited in line for 40 minutes, but quickly realized lineup was completely all tourists ... should have left. Ordered one egg bagel with pastrami and one bagel with Turkey with Swiss cheese...More

I am a NYC girl (for life), but have since moved away. My first stop when I'm home is to head to EssABagel for the real deal, hot bagels! There is nothing like them! From a hot plain with just butter or a schemer...to one...More

This is a must stop each time I go to NYC. And I bring some home. Huge selection of bagels and spread. Watch them bake them on -site. Eat them while they are warm. My favorite are Everything and Sesame.

Yes their bagels are good but they seem to be more excited about maintaining a huge line. Tremendously inefficient!!!! They process online orders first even when line out the door so order online. Most lines will take 45 min to get a bagels. There are...More

These are good, but the line is always long and takes a while to get what you need. By the time you make it through the line get yourself some cake. it's worth it.

Long line to get bagels is guaranteed specially in the morning. I found the menu confusing but the cream cheese was fantastic. Bagel tasted like bagels normally taste, a little chewy and heavy, maybe I don’t like bagels that much, but don’t get me wrong,...More
