My daughter loves macaroni and cheese, so for her 16th birthday weekend in NYC… she just wanted something simple to start. We arrived and were immediately taken to our table. We tried the happy hour cheese plate, I had a green salad (which was sooo...good) and we both got the macaroni and cheese. Everything tasted fantastic. Although we did order a bean dip which was kind of bland. The server was very attentive. At the end, I told the server it was my daughter’s birthday and they gave her a complimentary cheesecake trio. It was very good. We really enjoyed ourselves.More

The mac and cheese at Beechers was AMAZING. The basement restaurant is also nice with a good ambience. We actually ate here twice on our trip it was so delicious. I would love to return to try some other things! The only drawback was the...cold, slightly unfriendly service we encountered.More

Amazing! We stubble across this place while visiting New York. We weren’t going to eat, just stop for a drink but after seeing the food and watching the cheese being made we had too. It was the best mac and cheese I have ever had!...Wish we could have eaten there everyday.More

Wow !!! It is so different. Cheese made on the premises and all visiable to customers. The cheese options are wonderful although menu is broader than this. However alcohol prices seem sky high. Effcient and friendly service.

We are at Beecher's in Seattle 5x in one trip and were beyond excited to find out they had a location in NYC! We came here on our first day of vacation around 11:30 AM on a Sunday and were seated in the "Cellar" downstairs...immediately. They were serving brunch, but we opted for lunch items and wine. Mac & Cheese trio (lobster mac, regular mac, and kale/red pepper mac). The regular mac (World's Best) is out of this world! It is so creamy, rich, and delicious. The kale/red pepper option was okay but didn't really do it for us. My husband liked the lobster option fine but preferred the regular the best. We also ordered a turkey grilled cheese with tomato soup.... AMAZING!!! Seriously. It is the best combo ever and is very tasty! We will continue to recommend this place to anyone who visits NY or Seattle.More

New York location of the original Seattle cheese makers, with an upstairs market, and subterranean café (loud when crowded) featuring cheese plates and a limited lunch menu, full bar with nice bartender. You can get individual cheeses (a generous tasting portion with bread) $7 each...from a selection of their own cheeses (all cow; Dutch Hollow is a nice, creamy, somewhat sharp cheddar), as well as other cheesemakers they deem worthy.More

It was a great experience. A restaurant where the cheese is made right in front of you. Very creative. They also sell a variety of cheese to go. Service was great including the bartender that is from Hungary, and Kate, the manager. She was very...helpful.More

The cheeses are exquisite. You can also try the grilled cheese and well-known MAC and Cheese. Everything I tasted was delicious.

We had the best macaroni cheese ever. We went downstairs into the cellar to eat. It was empty when we first got there because it was just before midday but within minutes it filled up. You must try the Mac n Cheede here. It's seriously...goodMore
