Typical BBQ place. Food was good. What really turned me off was the extremly watery BBQ sauce.. it was really thin.. wasn't expecting super thick consistency. But this was ridiculous.

My husband and I traveled to New York City for a quick weekend away. In looking online before our trip for restaurant choices near out hotel, I stumbled along the website for Brother Jimmy's BBQ. The menu looked great, and the location was convenient, so we decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed. If you are looking... More

Actually is not a very good restaurant. The hamburger was no more than ok. I also asked for Cesar salad. The croutons were old. No Parmesan cheese. Plan lettuce and that's it.

We waited almost an hour for our food on a Saturday during lunch time. There was yelling and chaos in the kitchen. The waitresses completely ignored us. No one came by to ask if we needed anything. Our glasses were empty and so were our stomachs. The food was good, but by the time we got it both my sons... More

Wife got the pulled pork and I had the Burger. Both were just as we ordered and delicious. The portions were huge. We ordered the hush puppies and they were good as well. Our waitress never let our drinks run empty and checked in often even though they were busy. We will definitely eat there again.

I used to frequently eat at Brother Jimmy's BBQ in Grand Central Station. But, they went out of business. I've eaten at their other location on E. 16th St. a few times. So, clearly I'm a former fan of Brother Jimmy's BBQ. Today I thought I would try their location near Penn Station. I walked into the restaurant and there... More

I visited Brother Jimmy's BBQ just after visiting Dover Street Market. It was a quick visit before I went back to the airport and I felt sick the entire flight home. I went for beef brisket or something along those lines which was made out on the menu to sound incredible and that it was always in popular demand. It... More

We were out and about after having a couple of drinks and saw Jimmy's was close by so we decided to stop off and grab some food. A nice place with a good selection of food and drink with very helpful and polite staff. You get plenty of food so make sure that you save room when you go!

I love the fiesta and laid-back southern vibe of this BBQ joint! I have been here three times and will go again. My husband was not a fan and granted, it is not the best barbecue I have had but it's good! I enjoyed the marbleized brisket and the ribs. The sides are decent, especially the fried Brussels sprouts! Conveniently... More
