Amazing fresh sushi. Came here for lunch with my partner and we sat at the sushi bar. Watching the chefs prepare the food was truly an experience. A bit pricey, but definitely worth the spend as we both had sushi that was out of this world.

We felt like we'd walked into the ocean without getting wet. If you love seafood like we do, this was heavenly. The bright lights illuminate the beauty of the edible marine life. Clean, clean floors. Slick signage. We sat at the sushi bar for a single round of king crab. Wow. Melted in our mouths. It was a good-sized portion... More

The Lobster Place is an excellent seafood retail store with a small take-out area in terms of physical size but with a very active operation which more than fills the adjacent stand up tables offered to clientele. My lobster roll was presented in a freshly toasted frankfurter bun. A piece of lettuce nestled plentiful lobster pieces which were beautifully fresh... More

Its something you may,. or may not ever do again! Order a live lobster, including the weight of the lobster, and stand and eat it in close quarters amongst strangers with bitter dripping! It will never be fresher or messier, but so much fun to do when taking a break from strolling Chelsea market. Had gone with a foody chef.... More

The Lobster Place is very nice place in Chelsea Market. It is more a seafood market than a restaurant. They offer fresh seafood in so many varieties (you can eat there or take away). It is like a deli/market with a few seats.. (you should not expect to have a table and a chair, there are few and the place... More

We got lobster rolls for the plane ride later than night, and they were fantastic four hours later! Chunks of tasty lobster with celery and not too much mayo - best lobster roll I've ever had!

Went to the Highline where is nice place to walk. Chalsea Market is just below the Highline. Inside the market, there are many places for meal. Sometime it is just too much to go into a restaurant to eat alone. Lobster Place is a good experience to enjoy sea food alone. Many kind of sea food selling piece by piece.... More

Located in the Chelsea Market, I had the fried shrimp platter. A good number of shrimp along with a pile of nice shoestring fries. It's very crowded and most of the places to eat are stand-up counters - no seating.

Definitely recommend to come here for quick lunch. Oyster and lobsters look like the most high demand in here for all tourists. I will recommend sea urchin as well its cheaper and fresher than in a restaurant. Oyster will probably be the same as typical restaurant, in fact same price as Grand Central Oyster Bar. Taste - still top rated... More

It is simple. Great fish-seafood shop in Chelsea Market, with several possibilities of food to eat there... We tried lobster rolls and I am fully recommending it... The only problem is combination of great taste, small size and quite high price (20 USD for lobster roll) If you are hungry, you will not resist to have two or three rolls...... More
