It is a place with good Italian food for a decent price. I ordered the Gnocci and it was very good, the service is also good. It is a bit far if you are a tourist (like me) but if you live close by it is very recommendable.

This place is a destination, so any time you or someone you know is having a good time in Upper Manhattan, let them know to finish off the perfect day in Harlem's own Lido. Excellent Italian fare in an attractive and cheerful space. In warm weather the floor-to-ceiling windows open to an outdoor dining area. There's definitely a bar scene... More

A friend recommended me to come to this place and I am not a pasta lover, but I love italian food. I decided to try the lamb chops and they were perfectly cooked and all dishes on my table were delicious.

Lido has been on my list for a long time. Went for a nice birthday dinner mid-week. The ambiance was great and the waiter was super helpful. I ordered the Spaghettini which I really liked. The sauce was delicious. I would have liked more food in the dish. I still felt hungry after my meal. Other than that, I loved... More

Visited the Lido recently with a group from Long Island in the City for a "field trip" to explore local historic sites. What a wonderful choice for our lunchtime stop--they had a menu prepared especially for us with 3 choices of appetizers --I loved my Salt Cod Fritters; 3 choices of main dish --my Grilled Chicken Panini was great and... A friend of ours booked us reservations for a Saturday brunch, and I'm glad she did. When we got there it was packed, but since we had reservations we checked-in. They offer bottomless mimosas with your entree for an additional $16. While they cleared the table, we ordered our first set of mimosas at the bar. They were the perfect... More

This restaurant appears to be very trendy and popular. It was packed with joyous patrons sitting at the bar and at tables on a Sunday afternoon. I on the other hand am not a fan and will not return. If you are vegan - forget it. Vegetarian- load up on cheese. I asked my waiter to make me an Arugula... More

Hi Debbie: I am the owner of Lido and of course was very sorry to hear about your experience. By way of explanation, we don't have kale during brunch it is not prepped until dinner time. Of course your server should have explained that to you. I am wondering if you happen to know their name so I can discuss... More

Tonight was my first experience at Lido, but I will give it another try because my two dinner partners thought their meals were fine. The first had an appetizer of Grilled Octopus, Cannellini Beans, Shallots, Tomato Passata, Lemon, Fresh Oregano, $14, but the octopus could have been more tender. He really enjoyed his entree of Gluten-free Spaghettini Arrabiata, Parmesan,$18. The... More

Harlem is rapidly changing and with a new Whole Foods opening soon and lots of renovation (gentrification) there will be more and more great places to eat. Lido has been a favorite for many years. Close to 8th Ave subway line, Lido is accessible. I've been there for brunch, lunch, and dinner and always found a large variety to choose... More

Lido’s menu is Northern Italian. The menu can be described as fresh, simple, and delicious. Flavors are layered so that each one stands out but does not compete with others in the dish. The food is organic and local whenever possible and all poultry and meats are from farms that treat animals humanely. The ambiance is modish but relaxed. We look forward to seeing you soon.
