A teeny NY restaurant (prep tables had to moved so we could get to the restroom in the back), but with delicious mideastern dining options. We got a table easily early on a Friday evening, but all the tables were soon full. We enjoyed a...More

This was one of my best surprises in NY! Although I live in Haifa, Israel, about 20 minutes from the Druze villages (and thus I eat Druze food all the time), this restaurant was amazing. It combines traditional Druze favorites (such as eggplant salad and...More

Gazala's is a great find and a place that we are sure to return. We had lunch and had wonderful hummus, salad and soup. Try the date cookies for dessert.

Happily came across this restaurant by accident. Ordered the lamb hummus which was fantastic (and a huge portion). Prices were very good as was service.

Gazala's is a very good neighbourhood restaurant serving authentic middle eastern food. The falafel, taboule and hummus are all very good and the babaganoush is a real stand out. The service is more than adequate and my family enjoyed our meal here.

Our party of 5 ate dinner at Gazala's on Columbus Ave, a comfortable, spacious restaurant directly across from the Museum of Natural History. We began by sharing Gazala's platter, a combination of 9 hot and cold mezes including taboule, babaganoush, hummus, potato cigars, grape leaves...More
