Having completed a 2hr bike ride around Central Park we were in need of refreshments. This bar was a little gem just across the street from bike rental shop. Great service, good homemade food, average prices & "normal size food portions" just what we needed!!

Not in my opinion worth a visit. It was small and smelly! We went in because it was raining and needed to dry out I think if it had of been dry we would have walked straight out. Not a great beer selection either.

We were looking for a later meal idea and this place was recommended by our hotel. The burgers were great, as was the service. We liked this place - it's a smaller place on 58th (hence the name!) and very cozy.

A fabulous small restaurant with a good wine selection and great tasty food. Nice ambience good for a large family dinner, but also great for a date.

We stopped by here on our way back from 5th avenue for a late lunch. We had teens who were very hungry. Fortunately, the place was empty. The menu is a little limited but the waiter and kitchen were very accommodating and they got the order right the first time. The food was very good and the kids were satisfied.... More

We visited this dining spot in May 2015 with friends and came back to visit Oct 2016. This is our spot on every visit to NYC. The food is AMAZING! Reasonably price and they definitely give great portions. We love Isaac, he's just makes you feel right at home. All of the staff is super nice and welcoming. On this... More

Visited Red 58 again a few days ago - this time an early-ish dinner during Happy Hour. The Red58 Burger (rare) was awesome and came with a side of tasty fries. A pair of discounted draft beers - a Goose Island IPA and a Guinness - went down nicely. It's a fun bar/restaurant with great waitstaff and a wonderful bartender.... More

After reading positive reviews of the place we took the chance of going there for dinner after a Carnegie Hall concert. We walk in the door to find nearly a pitch dark hole in the wall where the walls seemed to have been painted black with only red illumination. The music was blaring and groups of drinkers yelling in conversation... More

Wonderful burgers! And some of the best mojitos I've ever had. Full bar... Good menu selection. Service was good. We did order an appetizer that we didn't get (or pay for) but we were full enough on our burgers that it was ok.

Thank Kris B

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
