We had just arrived in New York and went to this bar. Staff unresponsive and arrogant. Ordered two beers and got the bill thrown at me literally. Unhappy that all we wanted was a drink. Upon paying which could not be quick enough did not leave a tip due to their behaviour. Got the most dirtiest look ever. Bad service... More

After walking throu the city of day two with rain we stopped in at this very good lunch choice. Comfortable spot where we lingered over lunch -- not up for dealing with the umbrella wars going on outside! My husband and I had the lunch special -- more than enough food - choice of soup/salad/French fries along with your choice... More

As this was attached to our hotel, we decided to have breakfast here on our last morning. Although the food was tasty, it worked out at over $60 for pancakes with bacon and steak & eggs, coffee and orange juice ($6 per glass!).

Really enjoyed the food, here went twice for dinner and not disappointed, I think it is reasonably priced also, compared to other places in NY. I ordered fillet mignon one evening and it was just lovely, very tasty. I would recommend this place for a nice meal.

Food was surprisingly substandard. I had to split mine with my companion because she literally gagged over the salmon sandwich she ordered. We are not sure that the fish was actually salmon. The specialty cocktail was left by me on the table as it was so bad. Very disappointed in food and service. Our waiter never showed up again after... More

We had breakfast here today. I ordered a Danish pastry and toast. Both were cold when they arrived. This cost me $18 which is ridiculously overpriced. My friend had a cooked meal, we both had water. The total cost of our breakfast for two people was $62. I couldn't believe it. Neither of us felt we'd ordered anything extra special.... More

Wonderful welcome from staff at this Bistro, we ate breakfast twice here because of the food and service from waiting staff. In particular a wonderful lady, unfortunately I did not get her name but she is going on the orient express soon! You know who you are..... keep up the good work and thank you for help making us feel... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
