A very unsatisfactory experience on a busy Thanksgiving night. In spite of a longstanding reservation for our large group, we were greeted by confusion. No table awaited us, so our "choice" was an upstairs private room -- away from the madding crowd, but also far removed from any semblance of service. Practically an hour passed before drinks arrived, and longer... More

Walking in, this place feels like money. Clean, shinny, dark woods, large bar, private dining areas. The service was spot on. I started with a spinach salad. Excellent. Then the Gorgonzola Truffle Strip with a side of Truffle Fries. Outstanding. Finished with the Cheesecake with fresh seasonal berries. Absolutely wonderful. I left here complete satisfied with the food and service.... More

So this was our first visit to the Wall Street area location (we have been to both in midtown). BEWARE - the address is 120 Broadway but the actual restaurant entrance is one block away on the other side (Nassau Street). Typical Capital Grille interior style. We sat at an awesome table for 6 in the balcony that overlooked the... More

I recently hosted a work event in one of their downstairs private rooms. The service was outstanding. The staff works to stay within your budget. Since my company is now publicly traded, the "no holds barred" meals of the past are no more! So, the Capital Grille's huge signature steak was not an option. The steaks for 30 guests were... More

Came here with several friends during Restaurant week for Lunch, one of my best choice, Food, service were excellent. Order their signature burger, you will not disappointed. The burger was just right middle well done, juicy inside and the taste was excellent. highly recommended during Restaurant Week but on a normal week, it is pretty expensive.

Went with co-workers for Restaurant Week special and everything was great. My steak was A+. What really impressed me was that there was no skimping on the specials since it was discounted. I've had bad experience in the past during Restaurant Week with skimpy meals (Il Mulino was a DISGRACE last year!!). I've never been to Capital Grille before but... More

In New York, restos have forgotten quality, to prefer quantity!!!! We ordered scallops and seabass. Seabass ok. Scallops were salty. Overall taste was decent but nothing impressive. Too expensive. Two main courses + 1 accompaniament + tapped water= 100$ (gag). Place is Only good for meat.

All the classic steakhouse decorative elements are here – leather banquettes, dark woods, red hues, and a big bar. The personal wine bottles on the wall are a pretty cool touch that says “We’re Wall Street and we’ve got rich clientele.”, but I won’t hold that against them. Dining is really about food and ambience and The Capital Grille shines... More

Had a business dinner at the Capital Grille, the seafood platters were great, but the steak was amazing. A real rare steak like you don't get them often, I could cut through it like through butter, slightly warm inside, and beautiful red. One of the best steaks ever!
