Heard this was one of the best pizza's in the city so had to give it a try. We thought it was really good but couldn't go as far as saying it was the best. The restaurant is small and crowded. We were seated in the very back where we watched the pizza's being made and that was cool. Our... More

If you want to experience an authentic Margherita pizza, made in the classic, original Neopolitan manner in a very hot, wood-fired oven, there is no better place in America. The restaurant is quite narrow and small, but once your pizza is brought to your table, none of that matters. Calzone was also outstanding. Keste's is also famous for their Proscuitto... More

One of my favorite places we ate (best pizza for sure). This is a cute Neapolitan pizza shop that has amazing food and great service. Plus they make there own mozzarella in the restaurant and it was the best I've had since being in Italy. Unique pizza selections and reasonable priced. Would eat here again!!

I've had so many pizzas in my 45 years, all around the world, most in the States followed by Italy and vicinity. Many were bad, some were average, very few were even close to great. This is one of the great ones, possibly the best one. It's all in the dough! You can eat this dough with just a touch... More

My daughter and I created our own pizza tour of NYC. This was the clear winner in terms of taste, variety of choices and authenticity. The restaurant is small and crowded but the staff is very genial. The pizza is wood fired, the crust is chewy and the pizza is thin. I requested extra sauce on my pizza and I... More

I met a lady today at the dog run who was talking about being gluten free. I've never had the discipline to drop gluten, so I was curious to see how she was doing this. She said she's found some special gems around the city where she could get good gluten-free food, and it's helped her stick to her diet.... More

We visited Keste last night as a family of four with a friend as well. Unfortunately there were no tables free but we waited outside for 10 mins until they had one. We are so glad we waited! Although the restaurant is small it adds to the atmosphere. We had a variety of pizzas and all were delicious!! All of... More

Spent a few days in NYC and was looking for a good place to eat that was moderately priced. We were tired of little Italy restaurants. So I went online and found Keste in Greenwich Village. We made reservations and were seated right away. We ordered Prosciutto with Buffalo Mozzarella.as an app. The mozzarella is made in house and it was... More

Keste which is currently the #4 best pizza in the USA, according to TripAdvisor's survey, did not disappoint my palette! My coworker, Regine, and I went on a Friday evening armed with hungry appetite and great expectation. Being a semi vegetarian, I ordered what our server suggested, the Ortolana pizza, which was topped with artichokes, mushrooms, zucchini and eggplant. Regine... More

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
