We popped into Bobby Vans one evening on our way back to our hotel, so glad we did. lovely service, lovely steak as well as some impressive sides to add to our meal. Extremely pleased with our meal. Worth a visit if you are a steak fan, we were certainly not disappointed by the porterhouse.

My wife and I were on a family vacation to NYC and were looking for a nice place for some adult time. The doorman at our accommodations suggested Bobby Vans and we were not disappointed! The food, service and management were exceptional and we came back a second time. We will definitely return on our next visit to NYC!

We went there today to celebrate our annual department holiday lunch. Our server was Derek Ali. Throughout the whole lunch, he was dismissive, never explained the special to us and never refilled our drinks (or asked if we wanted refills). While we gave him our dessert order, he walked away when we asked for coffee. Not sure what his problem... More

We stopped here for a quick lunch. It was full of businessmen and had a very masculine feel. However, though we were tourists for the day, the staff were courteous and pleasant. My friends had the veggie burger and the linguine special. I had the crab cake, and it was by far the best I have ever tasted. Wine was... More

Steaks are done just right. Medium rare to the T. Service (Antonio) is professional and expert, attentive and nonintrusive. Creamed spinach is some of the best ever and mac and cheese was meh. Chocolate cake was meh as well. Wine pours were pretty generous. Patrons were predominantly older and not hip. Ambiance with xmas decorations are traditional and perfectly understated.

Bobby Vans has become a kind of tradition to me. It is always the first evening when in NY city. I love the restaurant (only the one in 54th street), the amazing service and the served food. Not everything is perfect but the people try to fix it when possible. There is the bar in the front which has a... More

We were seated in the back room surrounded by a number of couples. Our waiter was far from attentive. When asking for bread, he forgot. Then halfway through the meal, men appeared and moved tables and chairs on either side of us to create a table for 13 and a table for ten. What a hub bub! From then on... More

Perfect visit to this little jem of a restaurant - we popped in earlier on 17th November to book table and picked the one up the stairs in the corner - the front of house was very accommodating as this is a well sort out position in the seating plan. We arrived at 7.30 and were sat down our waiter... More

As for our Dinner menu, where guests can find culinary pleasure in a varied number of highly satisfying selections, the Classic Surf & Turf has never failed to please, nor has our favorite form of filet mignon, the Filer Oscar, which is served with a healthy amount of crabmeat and a topping of Hollandaise sauce. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown.
