Very neat vibe while we stayed there. We had just come in from the pouring rain, and were welcomed by the soothing sounds of some jazz siren and her band. It was fantastic. Would have loved to stay longer for a drink but we ordered late night desserts to take up to the room instead and as we waited we... More

...quiet place for lunch.. very 90's, kinda dated and in need of a remake... ..on the up side, one of the very very few restaurants that will accept patrons with dogs... so a major plus for that... ...also a stage for jazz at night, another attraction..... on the food side i had a beef tartare that was sublime and a... A great place to grab a drink after a day of walking the city. I was staying at the hotel so convenient and the bartenders friendly and approachable

We had a very nice evening at the Tribeca Hotel Bar. It’s was a very cool place on a Saturday night. They have a very “relaxed” environment, a great place for a drink and meal. The food wasn’t anything special, typical pub food, but in a very cool and “chill” environment. They had a Jazz band playing, so we enjoyed... More

Think dark leather, gentle lighting and if your lucky a cool band in the corner. This is the sort of lounge you could easily chill out in and remember 2 weeks later that you actually have another life. Nice find.

I reside in TriBeCa, and am an owner of multiple corporations in New York. The Church Lounge, is the most outstanding lounge & casual restaurant in TriBeCa NYC. It is managed by the most exceptional hands on manager & host "Sammy" whose efficiency can not be equalled. The food & service is great, so we often spend many weekends, meeting... More

Tremendously spacious venue for an upscale Brunch (served until 4pm!) with a very reasonably bottomless Mimosa, Bellini and Bloody Mary add-on option! The fare is fresh, plentiful and delicious! Service is excellent and non-hurried a truly wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Live jazz music and the fantastic ambience of this fine hotel makes this a must experience!

We visited this hotel on a Thursday for our last evening of dinner and music. We were impressed with the exceptional drinks and excellent food, and the very courteous and attentive service (ask for Newton). The music provided from 7 to 10:30p.m. was unique. The singer and her band performed current pop hits with a experimental jazz edge. The food,... More

Have been here a few times for their weekly Grand brunch buffet and live jazz on Sundays. The brunch selections won't blow you away in terms of creativity or value, but it is a very nice space to enjoy a Sunday brunch. The bottomless mimosas can be nice if that's your thing. There are lots of awesome drinks on the... More

Our group of 19 had Sunday brunch at the Church Lounge over the weekend. Sammy, the manager graciously seated us in the lounge, so we could all be together. Wow.....what a presentation! I enjoyed the table filled with bottles of delicious orange juice and coffees. Next, there was a table filled with salmon, meats, cheeses, salads, pastries, bagels, fruit, granola,... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
