I discovered that place thanks to my wife... dangerous! But what a surprise when we entered in. So cosy, lovely, and the food / meat is incredible! So tender and perfectly cooked. People are sweet, pleasant and rapid. Run there when you are in NYC.

Very luxurius ambiance. With violinist playing when you walk in. Gave us special wine glasses, and poured from a cool decanter. The filet was cooked to perfection. Lobster bisque soup was amazing. Cheescake was also delicious. SERVICE WAS 5 STAR! So attentive. Highly recommend, especially...More

Love this restaurant. It is old and quirky and the owner lives upstairs. All of the servers are perfection and so personable. You won’t go wrong with dinner here.

I somehow managed to purchase a US Groupon deal (tricky to do unless you're a US resident!) and got an absolutely STUNNING deal for this beautiful restaurant! $109 gets you 3 courses and a decent bottle of wine for 2. Now, even with this Groupon...More

Very nice staff kindly accommodated us for an early meal with no reservation. Excellent steaks. Petite fillet mignon was 12oz which by UK standards wasn’t petite! But it was perfectly cooked with tasty side dishes. Gin and tonic was a generous measure. Glass of wine...More

I usually love independent steakhouses...and we didn't dislike "Club A". But I have no idea how this place is ranked #20 on tripadvisor. The wine list is mainly $20-30 Costco/Trader Joe's wines selling for $70-90. We had the porterhouse for two. They serve it Ruth's...More

Not quiet a 5-star spot, but very close. If I could provide a 4.5 star rating, this is where it would be applicable. The service was very good, as was our steak. I would prefer dining at Club A over one of the chain steakhouses...More

In their website, it shows the menu on my iPhone but not on my iPad. Must be a compatibility issue.

Established in 2008.

Bruno Selimaj was born and raised in a small village on the Northern Albanian/Montenegrin border and began his life as simple farmer. But at the tender age of 18 and with his parents blessing, he embarked on a journey to America in search of new life.

In an Albanian household, it is tradition that a guest is treated with the utmost respect and as a member of the family. Bruno brought these core family values to his restaurant and Bruno Selimaj's life defines true restaurant hospitality.

In December 2007, Bruno closed his legendary restaurant after 30 years with a new idea and a continuing passion to strive to be the best. He re-opened his famed restaurant as Club A, a modern American steakhouse in the same location. His new venture manages to encompass the characteristics of a traditional steakhouse and new world modernism. His latest accomplishment has established Bruno as one of New York's legendary restaurateurs.
