Been ordering from here regularly since I moved back to East Harlem 5 years ago. Food is excellent. You will see a lot of people complain that they charge for pita and other things...Im not going to refute that. However the quality of the food is worth it. Favorite Hummus in NY period. Lamb is great. I usually go chicken... More

Moustache has delicious middle eastern cuisine with a light and relaxful atmosphere. Never have to wait long to be acknowledged and served. The establishment ( 1621 Lexington Ave.) is laid back however attentive to your needs. No rush to eat and leave. Stay as long as you like which is so refreshing in a fast paced city. Love their variety... More

Really great (and cheap) home cooking! The lambahajin "pitza" is delicious--reminds me of Turkish "etli ekmek". The soup and salads are amazing. The atmosphere is homey and very laid-back and very airy with all the windows open. Sit at or near the bar for quickest service or relax outside. It's truly a bit of the Mediterranean in New York.

This place has fresh hot baked pita and is a good place for casual dining. The appetizers added great and the flat breads are amazing. I love their soup too.

We started with the Hummus and Rahib salads. These weren't really like salad, but delicious dips for the veggis and bread. SO fresh and delicious. The veggies were crisp and flavorful and the bread was warm and fluffy (for a flat-bread :-) I had the Lamb Kabob Plate. This came out hot and wonderful! The ground lamb was shaped into... More

Eaten here a number of times, and despite the surly waiter, enjoy the food. Generally have the babaganouche and hummus with both white and whole wheat flatbreads for an appetizer. The flavor so are delicate and well balanced with the addition of lemon flavored oil and finely chopped fresh tomatoes. We have eaten the pizzas, chicken with the mashed lentils... More

Service was fantastic. We ordered Hummus and Falafel (good enough for two). Price is very reasonable and everything we ordered was delicious.

My first time eating at mustache and I was in food coma. Excellent vegetarian appetizers combined with lamb, chicken skewers added to the overall palate. Faisal our host with excellent service and his recommendations made the choices much more enjoyable given various combinations which complimented the whole table to enjoy and taste different types of entrée's. From the bar you... More
