Visited for lunch. Nice decor. Tables are a bit close to each other so no privacy. Reasonable wine list but slightly higher pricing. Food was well cooked and presented. Light and well developed flavours. Surprise was the dessert - Cafe Gourmand - Coffee and a small sweet dessert to accompany it. Cafe Latte was excellent. Hazelnut dessert and Chocolate pots... More

What wonderful food and amazing service! We had our two babies with us because we had checked out of our hotel and had nowhere to leave them and the nanny when meeting up with some family for lunch. We were worried they would bother other guests but out server made sure they were entertained and happy - he was just... More

Great cocktail menu, but the brunch menu itself, didn't have the range that we were hoping for. In any event, everything we had was delicious and well prepared.

My friends & I were delighted to have picked this restaurant for dinner. The decor is charming, upscale, yet relaxed. The dim lighting is enough to cast a intimate hue to your romantic date. However, that's not what we were there for; it was girl's night out & we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. We ordered off of their restaurant... More

We searched for a restaurant near out hotel and found this one. It was very elegant and the food was very good. Excellent waiter, bought one of the great olive oils. The food was wonderful and the fact that I can't eat spicy foods did not deter us. The waiter was very great in explaining what was in the food.

This was one of our favorite stops in NYC and was recommended to us by a friend. We were there during restaurant week so this was a great value; we will definitely be back if we visit again. We were able to call ahead and get a reservation and be seated right away so that was great - it was... More

This is a great place for a light lunch or dinner. My wife and I had the Butternut Squash soup, Manchego cheese/Fig salad and chicken salad for lunch. All these dishes are wonderful. Try any of the Sangrias, especially the Rose' Sangria.

We found the food here tasty but it was quite expensive for what it was. We ordered the cheapest wine (Still around 50 dollars a bottle) only to be told they had 'run out'. The staff were keen to clear the tables and empty plates before we had all finished eating which we found quite rude.

My friends and I came here for restaurant week and the place was very busy. Each course was served to everyone at the same time and the servers cleared our tables after each course efficiently. For starter, we ordered 6 different crostini and had complimentary bread and olive oil 6 for $22 USD. We ordered the F&O burger which was... More

Description
At FIG & OLIVE, we want to highlight our menu’s core ingredient of olive oil, which we use in place of butter in our dishes. From a sweet and delicate olive oil from the French Riviera that pairs well with a Steamed Lemon Sole Papillote to an assertive Spanish Picual or a Tuscan olive oil that holds its own with Seared Salmon with Fennel and Green Olives, and a green-fruit Provence olive oil that we serve with a Green Apple Sorbet. Our cuisine along with an elegant white, green and terra-cotta décor immerse our guests into the essence of the Mediterranean region.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
