An Italian restaurant in a sea of Italian restaurants located in Little Italy New York. I have been to a few of them and many are better. I am not real sure on the authenticity of the place. The mood was Italian, but the food...More

If you walk through Little Italy and are looking for a restaurant which offers good Italian food try Giovanna's. We were there two times and on each visit we had very good pasta or pizza. The service could be a bit more responsive. Be careful...More

We were to NY during our holiday and dropped into Giovanna's in Little Italy on a crowded saturday afternoon for a nice lunch. The restaurant seemed to be a nice classic Italian restaurant with a nice outside dining and nice vibe, but unfortunately it was...More

Choosing from all the restaurants at little Italy is not a simple task. I've stepped into this restaurant because the crew looked very welcoming. And, they actually were. I've had a small salad as an appetizer and a pizza. The food was ok, nothing to...More

This place has amazing Carbonara. I've had a lot of Carbonara around the world. I've even had it in many Italian cities, and Giovanna's Carbonara was nicely seasoned, and rich and creamy. Molto Bene. I might go back today.

While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest
neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors
from around the globe, especially on summer weekends
when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up
Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a
dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables,
cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised
when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in
