I grabbed small trays for a quick dinner after work. Price are really honest, considering the avarage. I think it offers much more for lunch than in the late afternoon, however there are a lot of Japanese products, I'm not an expert and for that reason I cannot say it is excellent.

A small but nice fast food and mini market next to Bryant park in NYC. It is a great place for a break after big dinners. Food is decent and cheap for the location. Service is good. My kids all live it.

This review pertains to the "mart" part of the store. Got a variety of Japanese snacks and condiments here. Staff were very attentive and helpful in explaining some of the items to this particular non-Japanese-reading customer. I really like the Calpico soft drinks they sell here--super addictive, especially the Lychee flavor! Am still working my way through the assortment of... More

If we lived in NYC, we would want to be close to a Sunrise Mart for our Japanese grocery supplies. If you are at the Andaz hotel on 5th avenue, lucky you the store is right opposite the hotel. It's a small place but stocks a good range of imported items that you would need to prepare a Japanese homestyle... More

A lot of Japanese variety hear. Ramen, udon, katsu Dom. Good sandwiches. Everything can be freshly made while you wait or if in a rush there is plenty of pre prepared food

This is a Japanese food market in Manhattan. There are 2 locations : East 41 Street and Stuyvesant Place. Many Japanese food items unavailable in New York can be found here. Many types of ramen noodles and mojis, the Japanese bean curd ice cream. Wonderful places to explore and find new items for foodies.

This is one of few Japanese grocery stores in Manhattan located right across from Andaz 5th Ave. Many Japanese products you won't find easy elsewhere. Price varies though.

Super nice experience to enjoy a typical Asian supermarket and taste good food on the mezzanine. Sunrise Mart is located in front of the marvellous NY library and is perfect for a quick and very cheap healthy lunch. Cookers prepares most of the typical Japanese dishes like Katsu-Don or Ramen and Onigiri. Food quality is superbe and the place is... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
