If you are in the theatre district and want to walk over to 9th Avenue for a wonderful lunch go to Nizza. I had a great grilled chicken with kale. The salad was very tasty and plentiful. Also had the chick pea torte which was light and tasty.

Escellentissimo!!!! I don't care about gluten free, but food is absolutely GREAT! I got some appetizers ( prawns, octopus and artichoke ). Absolutely amazing! Pasta ( I believe it was pappardelle ) - fantastic. Gelato ( strawberry ) - great! Crappa - good ! It was nuts grappa but I prefer simple white one. Coffee - good! Total bill with... More

Booked this place for NYE dinner before heading into Times Square. The food was absolutely delicious and had a dedicated gluten free menu! My partner is a coeliac and usually is only able to have Italian at home, but it was great to have something carby and substantial before the craziness of Times Square! We each thoroughly enjoyed our meal... More

We had a great meal. My wife is gluten free and they had a great menu. Would definitely recommend. Great value for money also.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking down 9th Avenue in search of an after-theater dinner. We found it to be a cozy, welcoming place that was hopping even at 10 pm. Italian food is usually a reliable choice in Manhattan, and this restaurant did not disappoint. The meatballs were especially good -- very flavorful, moist, and delicious! They served... More

I am a coeliac and they catered for me so so well. They even brought me GF bread with my own dips to enjoy for a starter. I had the gnocchi for my main dish and a glass of champagne. It's one of the most attentive places I've been to in NYC and it was really reasonably priced too!

I had a very good dinner at Nizza after the Broadway show. The restaurant is very cozy and not too big, nice holiday atmosphere, dim lights. I didn't have any reservation, but I was seated right away. Pasta with shrimp scampi in pesto sauce was simply delicious, I had vanilla gelato for dessert, and that was yummy! In a quality... More

We were searching for a bite to eat when we found Nizza and we were so glad we did. The pizza was outstanding, but we were amazed at how delicious the arugula salad could be. Who knew?

Went there for lunch today and it was empty. Within half an hour people were queueing out of the door. We both had pizzas and for the price we were surprised how good it really was. We had a glass of excellent chianti and we also had excellent service (thanks Megan). It's abut out of the way but worth the... More

This is the BEST gluten free Italian food I have ever had! It was such a treat to get delicious pizza and pasta that was also gluten free. We started with the Prosciutto and the Burrata and it was mind blowing. The Burrata was so incredibly delicious my friend and i are still talking about it 2 months later. We... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
