Food was average. We can do better at home. We tried several wines by the glass and they were each horrible, insipid, acidic swill. Clearly lacking in any sense of pairing with food. Will never return. If your idea of fun is faux French bistro...More

This affordable French Boucherie is a Top 10 TripAdvisor gem. We got seats at the bar during “Green Hour” with $10 drinks and low priced wine. Then ordered the lamb which was fantastic! Great service Fun vibe. Give it a go!

As a solo diner I was able to walk in and get seated at the bar, where I was well tended to by an authentic French waiter who had a bit of sass and a great sense of humor. I ordered the herb-de-Provence-encrusted rack of...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

Frick Museum is near Central Park, Dominique Bistro is in West Village, you will need to take a train or cab I guess. Recently I explore West Village and Soho restaurants more, and it’s worth it!
