What a charming little hidden gem! Everyone was so nice and friendly. And the atmosphere was a delight. Even thought this place was small it felt big and comfortable. Not to mention, the history on the walls and pictures on the bar are all very creative. Hope to meet Mr. Jimmy one day. Thank you for a splendid evening.

Absolutely loved Jimmy's Corner, and Jimmy! We found this place on a "NYC on a budget" article, and so glad we found it! $3 Budweiser and cheap drinks all around, while being right in Time Square. And best of all, Jimmy was so friendly and was there every night we stopped in until 4am! Hope to see you again Jimmy!

This place is small, but I'm so glad our server at Bubba Gump recommended this place. Cheap drinks and amazing service. Located in Times Square, but not trendy like most of times square. I enjoyed looking at all of the pictures on the wall.

Went there for a couple of beers to get away from the tourist madness and absolutely loved it. I wanted to stay all day, but the wife was having none of it! The beers are cheap, the barman was friendly and it seems to be full of regulars, which gave it a good vibe. It seemed far away from the... More

Teeny tiny bar right by our hotel we discovered, great staff, very reasonable prices on the booze, great characters, super atmosphere, ended up in there the whole night!

Small, beat-up bar with an old-school boxing theme, and bottles of beer for $3. How can you beat that? You cannot, my friend, you cannot. And the bartenders are super-cool.

This gem was recommended to me by friends that had been there a few weeks ago! Small "Cheers" type bar with cheap drinks! We were able to cheer the Dallas Cowboys without jeers! Loved the Canada patrons that played God Bless America on the jutebox! Great to meet Jimmy too!!

We have places like this at home, if you're from Cardiff you could describe it as you would the Borough, a long thin bar, a bit grubby but full of character. $9 for 3 bottles of Miller Lite, $12 with the tip, barman was attentive but not chatty as he was too busy, but we didn't go in to speak... Very narrow with seating in the back area and bar at the front. No nonsense kind of place with a mixture of locals and visitors. More of a 'real' feel than most of the other establishments close by. Old photographs varnished onto the bar are interesting and allude to times gone by..

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
