Be at the center of Times Square, and head 2 blocks south (Avenue numbers get smaller). Take a left on 43rd and a half a block later you'll be at Jimmy's Corner. It's an old boxing gym. The drinks are still $3 and $4. The...More

No munchies at all. Just straight up drinks at a fair price and fast service. Guess they want you out as soon as possible. Restroom OK.

Called into Jimmys on a cold snowing Monday and found it to be a super experience. The beer is only $3 a pint served by such a friendly barman called Mike. Well worth a call if you want a genuine New York bar!!!

Squeezed in here on a recommendation and loved it. Get a seat at the bar (don't move them!) and settled down for a few hours. Despite being very close to Times Square the prices are good especially for wine. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Stumbled across this little beauty of a bar on our first night in NYC. Drinks are cheap as chips ($3 a pint of Bud light), jazz music plays from the jukebox, nostalgia and photographs adorn the walls. It's a small dive bar so probably not...More

We discovered Jimmy's in 2006, on the final night of our first trip to the Big Apple, as our friends preferred drinking in the hotel bar. Fortunately we persuaded them to take the plunge and we discovered a gem. We return every time we come...More
