Last year we came for the fish tacos twice and we enjoyed them again this year. I had red drum and my partner had the tuna. We both had ours blackened. The bean dish in the side was also wonderful! We each tried a local...More

We decided to drive down to Manteo for the afternoon, from Where we are staying in Duck. We decided on this restaurant after checking the reviews, and they were all looking for a casual place for burgers and sandwiches. First of all, my Bloody Mary...More

Had an impromptu visit on a Friday night. The food was awesome, from fish tacos to ahi tuna everything was delicious. My only suggestions - faster drink service and more appetizer choices would of been great.

We ate here before attending The Lost Colony performance. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, the food was very good and the view was superb. They do have a children's menu and the dress is casual, but Avenue is a touch more upscale and would be...More

We all enjoyed our meals. I had the fish tacos - gluten free! We ended up taking home some gluten free desserts, too. The food was really great and we kept wanting to go back there throughout our vacation. There are a few outdoor tables,...More

Atmosphere is okay. Overlooks the sound which is pretty. The interior is very open and kind of cold. You can see stored equipment / chairs and tables etc behind a temporary wall. Just not warm and cozy. The service was fast and friendly. Food was...More

Great location with harbor views. Service was excellent. Mahi sandwich mediocre. Crab cakes were OK. More lump crab would have been appreciated. Key lime cheese cake was excellent and the coffee very good. Overall average food with excellent service. I will go back again as...More

Avenue Grille is a waterfront restaurant in downtown Manteo serving local seafood, all natural proteins, pizza, burgers and more! Avenue Waterfront Grille is situated to handle large parties and has a kid menu, so there is something for everyone. Our menu has plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options, too. Made from scratch recipes are prepared fresh daily. The fully stocked bar is a great place to relax and view the water. Or join us on the area's largest waterfront patio with beautiful views overlooking the marina and Queen Elizabeth II. Gather with friends and family after a fun day on Roanoke Island enjoying the sights. We are located in the middle of the downtown district and are steps away from a stroll on the docks and great shops, too! We are a seasonal restaurant and will be adding more hours in starting in May. Looking forward to meeting you!
