Four of us came in on a Friday evening. I wanted a salad and something different. The four of us ordered Ono, Ahi, Trout, and salmon. All fish was prepared differently and we shared taste delights. We had fish Cajun blackened, and 3 different flavors of hot sauce. The portions were good size and the server was attentive which I... More

King's Fish House was just OK. Nothing to really Rave about. My wife and I both had Seafood dishes that were just fair. The service was good and the wait help was friendly. The decor was somewhat dark and gloomy. The location was easy to find and parking was readily available. I would recommend the restaurant but only if you... More

We are extremely picky about quality, ambiance, attentive but not overbearing service, and value for price. This gem, hidden in a Mission Valley strip mall rivals expensive shoreline La Jolla / Torrey Pines venues for variety and freshness. Surprising oyster varieties, excellent Idaho rainbow trout, and a spicy "New Bedford Style" chowder that even impressed these East Coast foodies. Get... More

Started here for a night out and we never left! The atmosphere in the bar area was so enjoyable, we stayed around for the evening. The food is wonderful, and the service was spot on. We've eaten here before, but always sat in the dining room. We'll be enjoying the outside patio off the bar from now on. What a... More

Stopped in with friends and had good food and a fun time. The bartender was ok.. not overly friendly, and I found it odd that they didn't have the Cajun Martini printed in big letters on the mirror because it wasn't good... Come up with a new 'Cajun Martini' already.... Their bar has a minimal selection of alcohol choices, but... More

My regular place to eat when I'm in town. Menu changes daily with seasonal specials. Crusted white fish (nut-crusted or parm-crusted) such as halibut or sea bass is filling and flavorful despite smaller-sized pieces. Not extra thrilled with chowder, but a couple salads are great (roasted beet and spring leaf w/grape tomatoes & avocado). Service is great. Nice outdoor seating... More

Really delicious huge shrimp! There was a a small piece of a screwer left on one, and the server was very apologetic and the manager treated us to a divine piece of key lime pie. Service and food that is much better than the ratings portray.

My wife and I went to the Mission Valley again to eat at the King's Fish House Restaurant. Steve K. our server was so Bubbly and Nice as he brought us some fresh baked bread to enjoy, and answered all of our questions as he hustled around the restaurant serving many tables. The King's Fish House menu has changed a... More

Title says it all. Didn't know halibut could taste that good. A little on the expensive side but, well worth it.

This was the first restaurant we dined at when we arrived. My husband chose it and I had not looked at the reviews! We were all pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the food! Everything was delicious! The service was good and the atmosphere was nice! They have a very large 11 pound lobster in the case which is amazing!
