The Shout House came highly recommended so my family and I, all adults, gave it a shot. It is a fun atmosphere, close to parking in the Gas Lamp. The guys at the pianos were really good even though they didn't know the words to a lot of the songs requested and faked their way through - still a laugh... More

Had a great time with 3 friends. I liked the variety of ages at the venue. Everyone was enjoying themselves and the drinks are superb. A very enjoyable evening.

This is a Must do while in the Gas Lamp District of San Diego. Very fun, interactive and just solid entertainment. Pianist are very funny and the overall atmosphere is simply terrific. Couple of negatives is the Pizza Blow's and I REALLY don't like the Men's Bathroom Attendant thing going on. That's Extremely awkward to say the least. I can... More

We went in March 2017 for a bachelorette party...so fun was on the agenda! The maid of honor made a reservation a month or so in advance and reservations are needed if you are going with a large group. The whole main floor was reserved and the upper part by the bar or standing room was the only open spots.... More

I've been to The Shout House several times over the past few years, we have driven down from Los Angeles just to spend a night here. It is so much fun, and the musicians are all SO talented (Eric's the best) and have such a wide repertoire that there is something going on for everyone. I have been here with... More

A friend recommended this bar for its dueling pianos - I have never seen dueling pianos before (it's not a thing in Australia) but it's a mix of music and improv. Have b en there twice in my stay and will probably go again before I leave San Diego. Love it!

Typical bar with beer, liquor, etc and typical bar food. But the experience is all about the "dueling pianos" and audience participation. You may go home hoarse because you have so much fun singing along with the crowd.
