I have a group of friends that tries to get together monthly. Sometimes we want to try something different. This time, one friend had a coupon/passport for Melting Pot. And oh how awesome it was! Sometimes this restaurant can be pricey, but split 4 ways, it was very reasonable. We had the classic Alpine cheese fondue and another one with... More

Nice dinner. Service is the best part in addition to the cheese fondue. The Alpine fondue is soo good. Skip the the entrees & dessert. Not worth the high prices.

There were a couple fondue places back in Dallas we used to frequent, but never actually made it to the Melting Pot. Stopped by the University City location last night for restaurant week. Very enjoyable evening with my wife, a very attentive wait staff, and a tasty meal. The wine based cheese fondue was ok, but we decided we like... More

We celebrated Christmas eve at the Melting Pot. The food was great and the service was wonderful. We enjoyed the 4 course meal.

The menu was a little difficult to understand at first but Thomas, our server and I think one of the managers took some time to explain how it worked. We weren't really wanting a big meal. You can order a 4 course meal which includes dessert but we really wanted to sample the fondues. We picked one that Thomas recommended.... More

Nice bar area where you can sit either inside or outside. Great selections of wine by the glass and some very special hand made cocktails. The Fondue comes in many versions using cheese of different kinds or oils also of different types. Cooking at the bar is a lot of fun for both appetizers, main course and of course dessert.... More

First off, let me say that this is not a fast casual experience. Dining at The Melting Pot is a three-hour experience, and well worth every minute!

Overall the melting pot is a grand and wonderful experience. Fondue is delicious but yet extravagant to eat! With the huge assortment of dipped delights, the melting pot has something to offer for everyone. We just ate dessert and where blown away! I can't wait to return one day to do the four course meal.

We were staying in the Hyatt right across the street and decided to try it. My husband, kids (11 & 14), and I absolutely loved it. Our waitress, Leah, was the best. Food was great. We were there for almost 3 hours, just eating, relaxing, and enjoying. Highly recommended for a fun family night out. It is pricey, but worth... More
