I love this place. Tried a half dozen different curries and loved them all. Generous portions and wonderful presentation. Staff are attentive and always super friendly. After a meal I buy their curry paste so I can make more at home.

This has been our go to place for a late relaxing lunch. With dishes from around the globe prepared in a laid back setting - this is a lip-smacking affair!

This simple, inconspicuous restaurant provides a tour of the world of curries. And they do a very good job with dishes from a lot of different cultures. Good quality food, friendly staff, quick service, reasonable prices. Check it out. And, if you dare, try the phall curry made with ghost chilis.

The Vindaloo was good and spicy, the Mussman sweet and tangy. Both were good. The only meat choice seems to be chicken, though. No shrimp or lamb.

We were staying in the Pacific Beach area, and about 5 days into our stay discovered World Curry. That was it. Since then we ate dinner from there every night. We tried different dishes each night and every single dish was superb. I have only one griped - one the rice is always sticky rice. I wish basmati rice were... More

We went here as it was close and had good reviews. We were disappointed. No shrimp available but we weren't told when we ordered take out so we came back the required 15 mins later only to find out then and have to order something else. Rice was lukewarm. Curries were lukewarm, tandoori kebab was cold but the tikka masala... More

Several different kinds are available. Servings are heavy on the rice, easy on the curry, but it's a very fair meal for the price. I've been a couple of times and would happily go again. Not a fancy place, but a good meal.

This place is a great dining choice in Pacific Beach. They offer a variety of curries - vegan, gluten free, & vegetarian options available. They'll adjust the spice level to your liking.

We had great service and enjoyed the food very much. Portions were good size and the wait staff extremely helpful. But MAN! Did we have to ward off the flies!

The food at World Curry was nothing short of fantastic. May wife and I took our 8-year-old granddaughter to San Diego for a quick summer getaway and saw this restaurant while driving around town. We like it so much we returned the next day for another meal. I highly recommend the Tikka Masala and the Golden.
