Visiting the area with my family. I usually frequent dim sum in Phoenix or las vegas...i was suprised by the prices. The dim sum was ok. Definitely satisfied my cracing. Probably will not be back.

After lunch at Dumpling Inn , we walked 20 yards to Jasmine express for egg tarts , Taro cake and bought soy sauce chicken the roast for snack later . The place is clean , friendly staff , with variety of cakes , snacks , and barbecue meat ( roasted pig too ) , also a buffet type of take... More

This is your typical carted Dim Sum place but we went there on a Saturday night and tasted their a la carte menu. Overall very solid and authentic Chinese Cantonese food. Their Cantonese sautée lobster with ginger and scallion was very well executed. We also enjoyed their whole steamed cod fish with ginger, scallions and soy sauce which was perfectly... More

The place is always crowded. Parking is very hard to find even with the new parking structure. The food is OK. We had DIM SUM here a couple times already.

A taste of real Cantonese food in San Diego's Convoy St. To our surprise we enjoyed the food! The hot and sour was nice except that the ingredients were cut coarsely. Worth the try! Difficult to get a parking spot!

Recent Changes: 1. Waiting is considerably reduced, making reservations helps too 2. Parking could be done behind Jasmine express or even near Car Max have overflow parking 3. Only meet eaters please, not even much Chicken choices 4. 8 of us paid $150, ate well 5. Always go with Cart items not from the Menu unless you are very sure.... More

On Saturday evening we tried to make reservations but we're told it was not possible. We arrived at 5:45 and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. Finally 1 hour and 20 minutes later after being told numerous times we were next, we were seated. In the meantime we could see many empty tables which we were told... More

We have eaten here regularly for many years, however our visit this week was a far cry from the past. The first surprise was paid parking. The second was a dining room 1/3 full instead of packed as most days. That resulted in what clearly were left-over items from previous days: broccoli that was cold, tough and inedible; pot stickers... More

We were here for a family banquet dinner. My party was the first to show, and at first they couldn’t find our reservation under the name I had given. The gentleman finally spotted our timeslot after meticulously going through their notebook – apparently, whoever took the reservation never wrote down our name and noted only the phone number. He led... More

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. The sticky rice had virtually nothing inside it. You have limited options on the cart. Mostly you have to special order. The food was not cooked well and the taste was not the best. I tried their Chinese broccoli, shrimp balls, steamed pork buns, sticky rice, red bean fried sesame balls. Didn't have beef noodle...
