Nice setup. Tried all you can eat. They have different tiers depending if you want sushi and/or sashimi. Rolls are very nice size so be careful. No leftovers allowed. Very tasty and fish is fresh. Delicious overall bring your appetite.

Let's start by saying that the fish was very good - sushi and sashimi were excellent. Having said that, the rolls were not as good, and the service, while friendly, was VERY slow. Prices were OK, so on the whole it was an average dinner.
Ogawashi has a fantastic and large selection of sushi choices. The menu does contain entrées, appetizers, and other food choices as well; however, come for the sushi. As might be expected, the sushi preparations are well prepared and are a delight to look at. Pricing...More

Tried the assorted fish poke and found it enjoyable, very fresh and delicious. Service could improve. There was only one waitress who not only seat you, she also manned the till, bartend and serve you. Place needs to invest in more servers.
Came to this place for a relatively late night dinner based on reviews and how close it was to our hotel. Sadly this was one of the poorest dining experiences we've had in San Diego. The sushi was fine, no issues with the food. Unfortunately...More
I understood that sushi is a good thing to try in San Diego, so out for lunch--couldn't find the higher-rated sushi place, so walked on looking--lots of seafood restaurants that also have sushi, but I wanted a place that specialized in Japanese. Finally came upon...More
Ogawashi was recommended by a friend that lives in the area. We were staying at the Hilton Gaslamp and decided to walk for some Sushi. It wasn't that far and the area is nice. Arriving we found a nice facility and kind host. The place...More
