This small cafe in the heart of ocean Beach (OB) is amazing!! The scones melt in your mouth!! All are so good but the passion fruit or coconut blueberry are among the favorite eats. Go early because once they run out, your out of luck!!

We tried 3 kinds of scones, the Cuban coffee con Leche and the Cinco Leches... all so so yummy! Place is tiny, bright, beachy. Service friendly and fast.

Sweet little coffee shop I found while visiting San Diego. Glad I came here. Varieties of less heard coffees. I had Café Cubano double shot. Very well made. Courteous staff.

We ordered three desserts: Diablo, Mango cheesecake, Guava cheese pastry. Diablo is a dark chocolate cake, with a mousse dome, glazed in dark chocolate, with a cocoa brittle base. Diablo is clearly the best of the three, in the opinion of these chocolate lovers. It is rich in taste, and lasted all too briefly. The mango cheesecake had a coconut... More

We were very pleased with our cuban cafe con leche. The coffee was smooth and robust and the milk added a rich craziness and sweet enough to avoid any sugar. Nice alternative coffee choice instead of the big coffee houses around town.

Azucar in Ocean Beach, San Diego bills itself as a Cuban coffee and pastry place. They make great coffee and have a varied selection of pastries, most which resemble French pastries. However, their description leaves you no doubt that they are not French, they might be inspired from French. We tried one, it was so rich that three of us... More

This is a small Cuban and Latin Cafeteria with delicious pastries, coffee and sandwiches. They even have their own dogs cookies. Very nice place and service.

Every single delicacy is extraordinary! Baked with love and served by the friendliest staff. We stopped for scones and coffee our first morning in San Diego and made it our breakfast and afternoon treat spot everyday of our vacation. The mojito cookies and salted caramels are not to be missed. Treat yourself and order one of their amazing chocolate or... More
