New to the Neighbourhood, we decided to do a bar crawl, venue crawl to taste the cuisine of San Diego; a cocktail here, a nosh there. Armed with a list of venue recommendations from friends and family, we started at Craft & Commerce, and boy, was it worth it! Absolutely amazing service (not too pretentious or taking itself too seriously),... More

We were out walking back to our hotel in Little Italy when we came across this bar. It immediately stood out and we went in for some drinks. Pleasantly surprised to be fed a steady stream of cheap, delicious Old Fashioned's on happy hour. Loved the taxidermy and library / lodge feel. Apparently there is a secret tiki bar that... More

We stumbled into this place on a cold Christmas eve and it was so warm and inviting! Leather bound books line the walls that also hold (fake) taxidermy animals. They don't serve vodka here so I needed some advice from the bartender. I ended up with a really nice gin concoction. My husband tried 2 different beers poured from nitro... More

Seems to be the hip place in San Diego. Very interesting and different interior - new hipster wave. Unfortunately the manager seem to had changed recently so the Internet website was not updated for the new menu. Food was good, price was OK. Nothing were we felt we need to go there again.

Great setting with ambiance in downtown San Diego. Hard to get in, so make reservations. Unique take on drinks and food, delicious and interesting. Try the old fashioned whiskey drink and the Gin Chronic, both were delicious and not overdone. Food was all great from Bone Marrow to Quail with Jalapeno Mac n Cheese to a giant and excellent steak,... More

Stumbled across this really cool spot in Little Italy. It's not on the main drag so we didn't know it was there, but oh man you must visit this place. We were in town for a conference and went 2 times. Great service (JC & Robert), the drinks are unique and to die for...the decor is amazing and vibe is... More

And 10 years later now in San Diego a "speak easy" tiki bar, omg (lol) you enter through the freezer, really?!?! This is so old. The rest of the bar is very nice in this out door/ indoor setting. I will never go back because this hipster joke that they don't serve vodka. Make sure to grow a mustache before... More

I fell in love with this place when we walked in. It just has so much character. My friend and I decided to start going to lunch once a month and hit some of the San Diego hot spots that we have been dying to try. Craft and Commerce was our first choice and it did NOT disappoint. I usually... More

I always have a good time at this restaurant. I feel that I'm in a sophisticated sports bar, sans the sports, but all the food you'll find in one. Beer selection is great, and surely you'll find a good pairing for all their menu's items. The decor is unique, and lighting is dimmed down. You will feel like in an... More

Started out with the FRIED DILL PICKLES (cornmeal crust, blue cheese crumbles, aioli) and ROASTED BONE MARROW (local greens, toasted levain). Pickles were cooked just right and the aioli was tasty. Found I'm not a big fan of bone marrow but don't let that stop you--as least give it a try. The FRIED CHICKEN (slaw, garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetable,... More
