I was here for breakfast. was very nice, I had pancakes and my friend had omlette with goat cheese, very nice. The waiter was very friendly, he did not take money for bringing the coffee a bit late. location is superb.

We stopped in for lunch here while attending a conference. We found restaurant prices in the convention center area expensive but this one deserves special mention for being so ridiculously over priced. The service was pretty bad. There were only two tables so it wasn't that we were ignored or the service was slow. They were constantly around to see... More

Five of us went to this place for dinner when we were visiting San Diego last week. We ordered Chicken Pesto Penne and it was horrible. First, we received a bread basket with tomato sauce as a complimentary appetizer. Tomato sauce tasted like it was just warmed up from the can and no cooking was done to it (not even... More

We decided to have diner near the conference center, and chose this place. It's very nice and fancy (and expensive), but the service wasn't good: the waiter told us he needed the table in 1h30 as he was seating us, didn't explain the happy hour, didn't let us order happy hour 4 min before the happy hour time was over.... Toscana is in the heart of the Gaslamp district of San Diego. We went first for drinks and sat outside in a wonderful atmosphere. We then went back twice for dinner and twice for breakfast. Food, service and ambience are great. Highly recommend this place if you are in San Diego.

Good spot to grab a quick lunch if you are attending a conference at the Convention Center. A lot of outdoor seating and a solid lunch menu with a good variety of salads and sandwiches. The Ahi Tuna sandwich and side salad was very good.

Nice spot for lunch or dinner. We stopped in for dinner based upon the look of the place and sat outside. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We sat outside which is really nice. The prices are very reasonable. The food is just average however in our opinion. I had Chicken Parm and my wife had Chicken Piccata which... More

Wonderful patio right off the street perfect for people watching in the evening. We just worked out way through the appetizers, including the cheese board, and a few bottles of wine. Good service, prices and food.

In town for a conference. Staying nearby and found this place on a walkabout. Very Friendly staff. HAd the Tiramisu pancakes. Excellent. They made a customer (very common in Tuscany) Melon and Prosciuto plate for me (not on menu) and it was quite good. One of the better Capuccino's I'd had in the year since last in Tuscany. Will go...
