Had dinner on Saturday after receiving a suggestion from a friend. I owe that friend a grateful thank you! While not an imposing building or a fancy interior they certainly make up for it with great service, a very interesting menu and superior food. This is my new favorite Italian Restaurant in the San Diego area. The Sausage and White... More

Suggest the menu or specials be expanded to include more than 2 fresh pasta entrees, including vegetable fillings. Burrata appetizer with mozzarella and sweet potatoes was excellent. Fresh ravioli with duck was nicely prepared and presented, however, other fillings should be offered. Orecchiette Pistachio was heavy on the pasta and light on the shrimp, and thus seemed to be an... three of us went for dinner to celebrate a birthday. two had the sea bass special, and the other person had a ravioli dish. all were judged to be terrific. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. This is a relatively small restaurant, so reservations are essential. There is a good wine list, but you can also bring your own... More

I'm in love with this place! The food was impeccable and so was our service, especially since we had a party of 8. Next time I'm in PB, I will absolutely positively return to this restaurant!! The one thing this restaurant could use is more variety in the non-alcohol drink department.

Great Italian food, great service, I would come back anytime for a great experience. We had two types of calamari dishes, the soup Minestrone with local fresh vegetables, salmon and the Bolognese pasta. Wonderful selected wine list, we had a very good Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay. The portion sizes were big for us, a family of two adults and two... More

My daughter and I dined at this little neighborhood Italian restaurant in north PB recently when I visited her on a business trip to San Diego. We both enjoyed our dishes, spaghetti and meatballs in my case and a Cod fish dish in hers. The portion sizes were large, and neither of us could finish our plates. We also spit... More

Upon entry of this warmly lit patio, I was greeted in such a friendly way that it automatically felt as if I was family with the hostess. As we sat down, we were immediately served warm bread and balsamic/oil garlic sauce. What seemed to be basic bread was...anything but. Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle...with the surprise... More

If you want great Italian food and outstanding service, this is the place. Would recommend starting their house made Burratta plates (we had fig and prosciutto) or the Carpaccio. Entrees were outstanding- thick cut pork chops, spaghetti w/meatballs, lobster ravioli, and Chicken Piccata. Our waiter, Hugo, was about as good a waiter you will ever have Outstanding Italian wine list,... More
