We are locals and went for a stroll and found this little gem . Breakfast buffets on sundays are magically beautiful. live singingi mariachi and delicious authentic mexican dishes. However the only bad thing that happened is that my husband got a hair in his food. Otherwise service was great!

Always consistently good food and professional service. More of a Cal/Mex cuisine but very tasty and reasonably priced with generous portions. The table setting is comfortable, colorful and very "old town" San Diego charm! And great Margarita's! We have eaten here many times over the years and it has always been consistently good food. The location is also excellent for... More

Obviously, there are plenty of restaurants in Old Town and I'd say that would be my second choice. It probably feels more Mexican than others. We went there in the evening and there were very typical Mexican songs performed live by a couple guys. The food was good, the service was good too.

This restaurant in old town quarter serves original mexican food , it's hot and spicy. It makes I eat a lot, mexican steak cut into pieces with spicy sauce wrapped up in tortillas with bean mash, rice . It's yummy.

This is possibly one of my favorite places in Old Town! The chips and salsa are amazing. The guacamole was delicious. I ordered the flautas (and get them almost every time I go there). The people are very friendly and it has a great outdoor seating area. Look on the back of the menu, they have smaller plates (which are... More

The place we chose was closed for a wedding, that's how we got here. Never again will this happen. First, the waitress didn't know zinfandel wine can be red. Well, ok. But the white one they serve (when you ask for red, yes!) is no wine, but a fruit compote. My husband decided to have a soup with potatoes and... More
