I was in town for my son's college baseball game. He was hungry and asked if we could go here and I said no problem. He enjoyed the buffet with all of its different items you could choose from, especially the vegetables! I got the teriyaki chicken salad bowl which is huge, filling and very delicious! Go tried it out for yourself and see if you won't be as satisfied as we were.

Definitely a different approach to your basic Mongolian style grill. You fill your bowls with what you want. Take it to the cooks. You have to stand and wait while your food cooks in front of you.
The bowls you use to gather your grill items are very small. You will need to use 2. There is a wide variety of sauces you get to add. Only thing missing is minced/chopped garlic.
Service is extremely good. Never had an empty cup or cluttered empty dishes.
Give it a try, I have been to this one several times.

I wish the cooks would be a little more careful not sticking their thumb/ fingers in the bowls. But the food hits the grill that should kill anything. I wish they would space the food out on the grill so other people's seasonings and oils don't blend in with mine.Still my favorite endless grill.

Ate here in July, and though our server was very good, we felt like the cooks really didn't care whether they did anything with our food or not--they weren't even standing at the grill, but leaning against the wall, chatting as I watched all of the sauce evaporate from my food. At other HuHots I've been to, the cooks were constantly moving around the grill, turning the food, making sure nothing was overcooked. It was really different from what we were used to.

As usual the food was fantastic! I took some stars away for management. To start, they are short staffed as most places. But usually pull out a great experience. Talking with staff, the manager did not show today. The staff marched on. Was told the district supervisor stopped by and did not stick around to help. Kudos to the staff for not just locking up. They need some recognition.

Basically, Huhot restaurant is an all-you-can-eat Mongolian Grill Buffet. If a customer has not experienced this type of restaurant, the restaurant staff is more than willing to assist the customer and suggest some tips. The first choice is to select the ingredients the customer wants to have in their self-made entrée. The next challenge is to concoct a sauce. The customer can invent their own sauce or use the formulas displayed on the wall for the different varieties of sauces that are recommended. There are about a dozen different ingredients that can be combined to make the sauces. The food is then brought to the cooks. The customer can make as many trips to the grill as they please.
The prices are reasonable. The staff is efficient and attentive. The ingredients are fresh.
Huhot is located, at the end, of a large shopping center, on Wanamaker Road and Huntoon Street. The main entrance is located on Wanamaker Road.

The meal was delicious, but the location needs some updates and renovation. There are Floor tiles broken/missing around the cooking area and the dining room could be a more comfortable setting with a deep cleaning or updates. The individual working at the grill took extra care to be attentive to an allergy by cleaning the grill and sectioning the meal off from others to avoid cross contamination, and this was much appreciated.

We enjoyed a family lunch here. I'd heard recommendations for another of their locations, back when they were called Mongo's, and this is the first opportunity I've had to try their food.
It's great, and everyone can choose the mix, also mild or spicy and etc..
I love buffets, and making all the selections, then watching the chef fry everything on their big round grill.
We ate in the early afternoon and had the place nearly to ourselves, which we prefer, though I'm told it gets quite crowded for dinner.

Kinda hard to mess up food that you pick out yourself, and this time was no exception.
For some reason the cooks forgot to stir my husband’s dish but it was still good.

Other Huhot restaurants have better options and offer fried rice, eggs and pancake (tortillas). This one does not. This one is dirty too.

The choice combinations are unlimited and all types of eaters from vegan to keto to low-fat can find something! The dinner rush is quite busy so it’s best not to be in a hurry.

I had to come back and am glad that I did. Some will love it and some will not, but the food and experience are both good for me.
If you are looking for a little different experience in Asian style food, it is definitely something you should try.
Take your time and read about the sauces. Try some, go back and try different ones if you wish.
There is a great selection of meats, vegetables, and sauces, so the number of possible combinations is almost unlimited.

I really miss HUHOT as I like their food, service, and cleanliness. The Staff there is always great also. I went there last night and the food and experience was great as usual. I cannot find a Mongolian Grill experience like HOHOT at any of those in DFW Metro. Glad I get back to Topeka on occasion.
