We wanted to get a drink downtown. A Celtic bar sounded like a safe bet. Not so much. Very average, kind of rundown. We sat outside and drunk, over-served people kept accosting us, wanting to talk. We finally gave up and went back to the hotel. Go to Terry's Bar & Grill instead!

I had a half reuben sandwich that was so good, a cup of the soup of the day (chicken tortilla) and split a house salad with a friend. It was all good! The service was super and friendly. The Guiness beer was just like it was supposed to be!

Nice dinner. Busy do to I outside street concert. Food was tasty. Shared fried pork dinner with mashed potatoes with my wife. Onion rings appetizer was excellent. They do offer military discount.

We went here based on reviews of others on Trip Advisor. Recommendations were for the "best fish and chips in Topeka" We were not disappointed. My husband is English and he said they were the best he had ever had! So good, that even though we were not staying in Topeka on our trip back, we stopped here for lunch... More

The location is convenient to the State Capitol and downtown area. It serves some Irish fare, salads, pub food, and has some good beers on tap.

Located right in downtown Topeka near the capital, this looks like a place that would be a lot of fun with a young, evening crowd. We were there on a quiet night, but the food was very good. Service was prompt and friendly. I would eat here again.

My wife thought 'fish and chips' sounded perfect for a date night on a cold, damp Friday evening. It had been a long time since we had last visited this downtown staple and they were still busy upon arrival. First impressions are good with all the wood and ornate bar. Upon taking our seat, Briana was there taking our drink... More

First off, the waitress couldn't have been more pleasant. Personable, attentive, and fast; she truly made us feel like she was glad we were there; not like many places on the west side of town. Secondly; food was terrific. I had Bangers and Mash, wife had a burger and fries. We are both picky eaters and we both enjoyed our... More

We contacted Celtic Fox about a month prior to needing a room for our rehearsal party and they marked us down for that night. We arrived and bartendar looked at us like we were crazy! Not really but you could tell they had no idea we were coming. They had one person serve us food and drinks ( about 30... More

Almost the entire menu is Mexican items. Only a few "Irish" items. Ordered a Black and Tan beer but they had no idea how to pour it so there was proper separation. It has all the decorations of an Irish pub but it is truly not. The food was of poor quality. If you are looking for a good Irish... More
