Everyone in the family loved it, which is a rare and notable thing. This is casual, order at the counter, eating. The chicken and gravy on a biscuit with a side of fresh, warm blueberry donuts is a must-try.

Not quite sure why it's rated so high. Connies is simply a fast food--quick service place... Prepaid chicken, rolls, etc sitting under heat lamps. Drive thru lane, order counter and some seating inside. Average fried chicken. Average rolls.
We were driving from Tuscaloosa to Memphis, and my wife started looking for a place to stop for lunch. This sounded great to us so we set the info into the GPS and we got to Connie's without a problem. The restaurant itself isn't remarkable,...More
