They have the most fabulously creative cakes ..... ever!! This bakery has been in Chinatown for years .... and we've been shopping here since they opened. Great cakes and goodies. Don't think you're going to get overly sweet confections. You're going to get great Chinese bakes!!

Not often that I get to sample some original Chinese bakery items but stopped into the Eldo Cake House and enjoyed their egg custard, the pineapple bun, and a coconut-encrusted that was fantastic. Wish we had more time to have sampled more of their product.

Love their fruit topped birthday cakes and desserts. Prices are reasonable compared to an American style bakery. Their fresh baked breads are always very good. Nice place to go if you can make a decision...so many choices!

I will never purchase anything from this barkery. The cashier gave me a terrible treatment. The cashier won't let me pre-order my birthday cake the night before because I look like a child. I am 20 years old. I always ordered my birthday cake from this barkery every year.

I grew up with Eldo and still go back 30 years later! Like other reviewers said, the cake is light and not too sugary, but definitely delicious. I give is 4 bubbles, because I have had better in Chinese meccas like Vancouver B.C. and Hong Kong. Definitely, the best in the Boston area though!

I stopped by here to get one of their traditional Chinese cakes, which I was first introduced to while on a trip in China. Glad I came here! Their cakes are very light with an understated sweetness and just the right amount of strawberry inside and on top. If you find typical cakes from the grocery store to be way... More
