We were invited to join our extended family rehersal dinner. The wait staff, appetizers, entrees, and desserts were extrordinary. It was an excellent event, many thanks to our host and hostess for inviting us. Definitely a must try venue.

This spot was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. We were quickly seated, and the hostess checked my computer bag for me. The service was excellent. The menu was limited but very creative. I was disappointed the filet was unavailable, because due to a shellfish allergy, there were only a few menu items I could try. I settled on... More

My husband and I had a romantic dinner at Lucca Back Bay on the last night of our recent October Boston visit. It was a Sunday night and the restaurant wasn't crowded or loud. Service was excellent - our waiter was attentive but did not hover. He kept an eye on his tables and came only when needed. We each... More

We had a large group split up in 2 tables. The place is gorgeous. The cocktails we ordered at the table were not great (just not made well) and the server encouraged our group leader to over order appetizers as well as pasta to share. Everyone was completely full by the time the entrees arrived and too much of the... More

Came here to start a fun weekend in Boston with my sister . Table and bar service was friendly and efficient . Food was delicious, though portions not large enough to share. Atmosphere warm, inviting and intimate at the same time . Exactly what I wanted and pictured an upscale, trendy Boston restaurant to be like . Romantic too !

We just returned from a family visit to Boston and had dinner here. We had previously dined at their other location in the North End and loved it too. I had the lobster gnocchi which was outstanding. My husband had the rigatoni and loved it. The kids ordered from the kids menu which had he best meatball sandwich. Our waiter... More

Great dinner. Distinctly different pasta dishes -- lobster gnocchi, oxtail garganelli & squid ink tagliatelle with shrimp. Perfect texture and flavor. Fire roasted corn was a great side dish. Highly recommended.

After reading about this place, we had to eat here. Fredis served us and was very accomdating. We had a great burrata salad to start, along with something not on the menu, an order of meatballs, which are still made by mom. Entrees we shared around our table included a short ribs (out of the osco buco) and risotto, Garganelli,... More

Lucca Back Bay is the sister restaurant of Lucca in the North End. The Kitchen, headed by Andres Cruz, embraces classic Italian cuisine with a contemporary approach. Andres works closely with the finest purveyors and local farmers to ensure that nothing but quality produce enters his kitchen. From house-made pasta and breads, to handcrafted desserts, the cuisine is a thoughtful, well executed, process.

Lucca Back Bay offers two dining styles. The elegant main dining room at Lucca Back Bay is the perfect place to relax and enjoy world-class cuisine and exceptional service in a fine dining atmosphere. The cozy and intimate lounge at Lucca Back Bay is a great place to hang out after work, whether that's at 5pm or 1am. We have been told that we have the best burger in town, a staple on our bar menu which is served nightly until 1am. We stay open until 2am every night, with a large industry following, and feature a large collection of house-infused spirits.

Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
