A fun bar/restaurant/music venue at Boston's Center for the Arts in the beautiful South End. Seasonal outdoor seating is limited to diners, but shared apps will meet their criteria. Portions are large, and the entrees can be awfully heavy. Try a light and flavorful Beehive...More

We were stuffed into a corner by the bar and from there the experience got worse and worse. I was seated with my back to the bar and hit in head on numerous occasions by enthusiastic bar standers. The wait staff asked the revelers to...More

The Beehive has great food that’s just a little different. Consider it a solid twist on classics. Live music here makes it fun, but it is really, really loud, so I wouldn’t bring a date here. For us (a group of 22) though, what fun...More

First night in Boston - salivating for my first taste of seafood and some good Back Bay Jazz, my first question to the Hotel Check in Desk - was 'where can I hear some jazz?' Her 'favorite place' was The Beehive and it was walking...More

Well hosted, staff are quick and helpful for a busy place. Music fits well with the total experience of ambiance, food, drink. Well recommended for a night out for two or groups, well catered to all party's.

This place was hopping the Saturday night we visited. We came over after having dinner in Chinatown not realizing there were food options here. We did have some appetizers with our drinks as we enjoyed the show and they were good and reasonably priced. Nice...More

Odd space, dark, with cool art and little nooks. Great blues band was playing. Food was eclectic, but a bit steep for the quality. Wine and cocktails also just ok. Service was solid.

The live music at brunch time is turned so low you can barely hear it, it sounds more as a background recording.... the food is subpar, hollandaise sauce on Eggs Benedict was inedible, the door welcome spotty as they forgot about us within minutes. We...More

interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open
