I just wanna say that Neptune Oyster was my 1st lobster roll experience. I give it ***** stars. Although my food was pricey, it was definitely worth it. I ordered the war lobster roll in butter/toasted bun with a side of fries. I arrived around...More

It's a pain that they don't take reservations, but it's definitely worth the wait. Neptune's is a very small restaurant that seats only a handful of customers at a time, but their warm lobster rolls with fries are soooooo good. If you're visiting Boston, you'll...More

Was recommended by locals and so glad that I visited. Knowing it was a smaller place with limited seating, I arrived at 5pm and sat at one of the three empty stools at the bar. Very prompt service, with a wine list, oyster menu, and...More

You'll have to cue for this wonderful restaurant which does not take reservations. You will be pleased that you did. The food, particularly the oysters, are perfection....the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. You will leave sated with a smile on your face.

Got luck here because a friend went and put or names in early. Times we overheard ranged from and hour and a half to four hours. We had the plateau, which included oysters, clams, mussels, crab, lobster, and shrimp. I didn't care for the oysters...More

I stopped in here on my first afternoon in Boston. Even at 2pm I had to wait about an hour for a single spot at the bar. The wait was worth it though. It was extremely nice that they took your cell phone number and...More

Long story short: go early or expect to wait. But it's absolutely worth the wait! Best lobster roll and oysters I've EVER had! I had read a review online of the best restaurants in Boston for lobster rolls and Neptune was mentioned for the best...More

Get there as early as possible, put your name on the list and they will call you when your table is ready. We walked some of the liberty trail while waiting. This was hands down the best hot lobster roll we had, warm, buttery, quality...More

Get here early and get your name on the list, then walk down the street to Bacco and get a drink while you wait for the call that your table is ready. This place only has spots for around 30 people, so the wait is...More
