Stopped in for some Thai food after walking by in Washington street and was thoroughly surprised. Great pad si ew with chicken, got it very spicy and drunken noodle, we will come. Ack to try more options. Also sampled a glass of 14 hands Riesling from Washington state, delicious. All in all great service, very attentive and a delightful meal.... More

Usually like the food and service. A Friday night with more than a few tables sends this place into a not so great place. The appetizers and main course came out at once - and the food was not what was ordered. When you politely let them know - and they remake it and it comes out again well after... More

Average, tasty Thai food. Limited menu but affordable and tasty. Rice needs to be ordered separately for most dishes. Portions are generous.

Friends and I ordered several dishes. All good flavors. Tom Yum Goong soup: not too spicy. Shrimp and mushrooms were the best part. Soup itself was ok. Red curry paired with chicken and white rice was great. Good balance of sweet coconut and curry spices. My favorite was the House Favorites: Basil dish (tofu). The sauce was delicious. Large portions.... More

After a long day we arrived at our Air B&B in Boston just wanting some good food quickly. Guided her by our host we were happy to find somewhere that looked nice with a reasonably priced menu. We had Thai Chicken curry and Drunken noodles: both dishes were very tasty and portion sizes perfect. Wine prices are eye watering painful... More

We ate here 1 night, Thai food which was average, the service started well but due to dispute over the price of the wine went down hill. We ordered a wine from the menu at $27 for the bottle, when the bill came it was $33, we questioned this with the waitress and after speaking to the management we were... More

We had drinks here one evening and liked the looks of the dishes passing by our table. We went back the next night and enjoyed the Equator Combo - an assortment of appetizers bountiful enough to completely satisfy us both. Spring rolls, chicken satay, shrimp rolls, deep fried vegetables, crab shumai and more. Food was nicely flavored, and all of... More

The vegetarian dish I had at the Equator was the best during a 5- day visit in Boston. With 8 persons, some were bound to have issues, but I was VERY happy with my sweet & sour tofu. Others enjoyed their Bim Bim Bap in a stoneware bowl etc. But there was a complaint about the shrimp. Our waitress was... More

I eat there often, most recently this past Saturday. Always delicious, always friendly and accommodating. Small but lovely place. They accommodated our group of 20 with no problem. A go-to Thai spot!

'Thai food' does not come close to characterizing this place. The atmosphere is elegant and the food is excellent. The preparation of each dish was perfect for the ingredients. We ordered the large appetizer medly and were very glad we did. The four of us then moved on to order three dishes to share family style. The scallops were excellent.... More

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
