The neighborhood pub is alive and well in Mr. Dooley's. Alas, so is the pernicious belief that Irish food is bland and utterly devoid of seasoning. We started with an appetizer sampler - nachos, potato skins, hot wings chicken strips, and onion rings. The menu...More

Recommended by a friend...strange place! Ordered nachos because you can’t go wrong with nachos, right?? Wrong!! Beyond mediocre and cold; other diners sent their meals back while we were there. The ‘entertainment’ matched the food; lack lustre. I had high expectations but, sadly, would not...More

Went to Dooley's for breakfast and had a wonderful time. Get a full irish breakfast or an omlette. The space is small and cozy. You'll enjoy the atmosphere in one of the areas where Boston's oldest building pair with their youngest. Great for photography.

I’m always a bit sus about ‘Irish Pubs’, but you’d expect it’s a safe bet in Boston, though there’s some real phoney such places in New York. 5.00 pm on a Saturday it was almost queuing at the door. It does have an authentic feel...More

I walked in at 5:00pm on a Sunday afternoon, and Mr. Dooley's was hopping! I was lucky to snag a table, and the bar was full as well. They had live music from 4 to 7, and it was obvious that many of the patrons...More

Mr. Dooley's was a great find as we were looking for some place to hole up during the rain. We enjoyed the Irish Sampler, Guinness and a two-piece Irish band. Great location and good food. Pretty small space that can get crowded. Will keep this...More

I stopped here for dinner because I was eating alone and figured I could eat at the bar. I got the Shepherds pie and not only did it look beautiful, but it was perfectly balanced in terms of ingredients which came together in perfect flavor...More

Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have

I'd have to agree with the other responses. This doesn't seem to be a place I'd expect to see special menu options. But, you never know. Best to give them a call
