Just went here, and it was decent Korean food. ATMOSPHERE: We came in on a very hot day outside (98 degrees), and their A/C wasn't working well. Not good. And it is a smaller place for sure, but clean and tidy. TV was on, but...More

We stumbled upon Suishaya while walking in Chinatown. We had the Bulgogi, although the serving was on the smallish side (with much of it bones) it was good, though overpriced. We found the servers to be rather distracted.

We wanted a good lunch before leaving and choosing Suishaya we weren't disappointed. From the lunchtime menu, I ordered a seafood bibimbap, and my partner a beef set dish - both came in very generous and tasty helpings.

Food was ok, but one of the waitresses was terribly rude. After we asked for one of the side dishes to be heated she said it's supposed to be cold. We said that that's understandable, but we would like it heated please, and she said...More

BiBimBap w/ tofu is my “go to” dinner. Complemented by Edamame and a large Sapporo. Always a good meal.

Small place, but good Korean food. 3.5 stars. Almost 4, but closer to 3.5.... STAFF: Friendly ATMOSPHERE: Small, and the TV was WAY too loud (Chinese music videos), but the volume seemed to drop a bit during the evening.... It shouldn't be hard to talk...More

The atmosphere took a hit on my ratings and the service was so-so. However, the food was so good, it completely negated some of those factors. The Bulgogi- Spicy Pork isn't grilled exactly how I am used to it, but it was still amazing. The...More

Small and limited seating, no Korean BBQ here but very good dishes. Not a typical Korean restaurant, only a few tasting opportunities with kimchi, beans and a pickled daikon. Yukgaejang was very good, also had the grilled squid that was hard to eat with chopsticks...More

Suishaya is at its core a Korean restaurant, offering the usual fare (bulgogi, kalbi, stews, soups), but they also offer sushi and "grassland bbq", which seems like a cross between Korean banchan (vegetable appetizers) and Japanese yakiniku (grilled meats). Anything from corn to fish balls...More
