Good bar food and a good selection of beer on tap. It is hiding on a corner behind some of the bigger restaurants. The prices are very reasonable. A fun place to stop into.

We really enjoyed stopping by this local pub. The drink prices are very good. We enjoyed several of the $5 margaritas. The staff were all really good. We stopped by for a second visit while we were visiting. Locals and tourists both were there.

Stopped by for drinks and music, fun times. No cover and reasonable drinks with friendly bartenders.

This seemed like a really cool bar,in the chaos of Quincy Market/Faneuil hall. It began raining,so we popped in for a few drinks. We had been trying to find a bar in the immediate vicinity, but all were packed. So,we were a little surprised that this one was so quiet(should have paid attention:if the locals don't frequent a place-stay away) Drinks... More

Looking for something outside of the zoo that is Quincy Market we stumbled in here after reading other menus on the block and deciding we didn't want to spend $20+/person on lunch. Both types of sangria were tasty, and everyone enjoyed entrees. Loved my brunch burger; fries were fresh, crispy, and well-seasoned. Waitress was nice and no one in my... More

My wife and I stopped here for a light dinner, drinks and golf on TV. We had their nachos with pulled pork which was very good! The price was right and the beer was good and cold! The only negative of the visit here was the street sweeper outside cleaning up from the day long market. Even that was somewhat... More

We had company for two weekends and their favorite activity is visiting bars. So we did. Of all the bars we visited, they liked this one the best. We came in for a beer after walking around the Haymarket. We were drawn by the free music – two guys doing a pretty good job with some current songs. Service was... More

$7 lunch specials can't be beat! I had calzone & salad - VERY generous portions! My husband had pastrami sandwich with fries & a pickle. Lots of pastrami on sandwich! Located right on Freedom Trail on the way to Paul Revere's house. One of the best deals in Boston! Food was excellent! Very unique restaurant, aptly named as it's shaped... More

We came here after finishing up on the Freedom Trail and wanting a bite to eat and a cold beer! We were greeted in a friendly manner and our server was pleasant and good. Had the clam chowder which was very good and my wife had chowder and a sandwich which was also good. It was very hot out and... More

The rudest bartender I've ever met. I don't understand why he took an instant dislike to my daughter and myself, but I've never been treated with such disrespect. I'd never recommend this establishment to anyone. A truly bad experience that took a perfect day and turned it sour.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
