Did not know there were at least two locations, so made reservations at the wrong Toscano. Walked into Toscano at 47 Charles St. (not where we made the reservation), and they were VERY accommodating on taking us AND calling the other location to cancel. Great atmosphere and excellent food, and among the very top in service of all restaurants I've... More

I visited Toscano with my girlfriend recently and was left with very mixed feelings about the place. The decor is beautiful and romantic as other reviewers have said. The service was prompt, if a little in your face. When ordering, I asked the waitress for a recommendation as I couldn't decide between two dishes. The waitress told me she could... More

Nice decor and pleasant maître'd however our waiter was condescending and made the experience exceptionally average. A poor example of Italian hospitality and cuisine.

We literally stumbled upon this restaurant on a recent trip to Boston and were very happy we did. The food was superb and the ambiance was very nice and relaxing. They had the World Cup on a TV by the bar and my son was excited to get to catch that. My wife had the pork in mustard sauce and... More

It was all amazing, but especially the burratta cheese appetizer. I ordered the veal scallopini and had a pasta dish in the North End, to enjoy different types of Italian cuisine. We loved our friendly and knowledgeable waiter at Toscanos.

We walked here from the Taj hotel through the Public Gardens which was great. The restaurant itself was beautiful inside with lots of architectural details. The waitstaff was excellent and the food was amazing. We will definitely return here. It rivals any North End restaurant and exceeds most in ambiance.

Great food and service. Our starter of mushroom was delicious as was my hubbies scallops which were very plump and juicy which he really enjoyed. My chicken was very moist and full of flavour. Apricot tart was a bit dry but this didn't detract from a lovely meal.

Great service and delicious food. The roasted eggplant appetizer and the stuffed chicken breast are worth going back for. Very busy spot so make a reservation.

Always have an excellent meal here. Management knows what they are doing... very professional, and it shows in everything they do. Excellent service by a knowledgeable wait staff. Food is prepared with care. Really enjoyed my veal dish on this visit. The pastas are always fantastic. Nice wine list but a bit pricey. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We were wandering through Beacon Hill after helping our daughter move into her new apartment and had worked up quite an appetite. While the menu did not mention this, they are equipped to prepare gluten-free pasta dishes, so we stayed and had a wonderful dinner. We started with a Caesar salad and a baby arugula and tomato salad. The Caesar... More
