my 2 travel mates and I were in Boston in October 2014. This restaurant is recommended by our host and we decided to tried it out. We wanted to have dinner at Charles Street but they were booked out. The next day we went to Harvard Square at Cambridge and were excited to know that Toscano has an outlet there... More

I used to love this restaurant but recently went to its location in Cambridge for lunch. The first time, in June, I had a grilled sandwich which was essentially tasteless. I assumed this was an aberration. So I went again in September and had a lunch pizza -- again, rather impressively tasteless. I will say that the service in both... More

My niece and I recently had dinner at the Toscano in Boston while I was there on business. There was much good news, but also some not so good news. The restaurant ambiance is lovely. The wine list is extensive, and excellent Italian wines are available at reasonable prices. The desserts are to die for, and the service is impeccable.... More

Excellent food. My chopped shrimp fettuccine was marvellous and my husband's mixed seafood spaghetti was also excellent. The service was very efficient and non intrusive. The only criticism I would have is that the lighting was very dim and it was difficult to read the menu!

We visited for lunch having seen this beautiful street on the Trolleybus Tour. We received a very warm welcome and our lunch was delicious. Calamari, crab risotto and apricot tart - all superb. We also had the added bonus of sitting in the open window seat to watch the world go by. Highly recommended!

Just had dinner at Risto Toscano with my husband. It was great! I had the verdura (roasted vegs) and he had the pasta bolognese bianci. A superb votka martini and an Amstel for drinks. And tiramisu and ricotta pudding for dessert. We will be coming back soon. Thank you for giving us an awesome dinner date.

This was our first time to this restaurant, but had heard and read great reviews about it. We started off with a perfect martini. Moved on to carpaccio and bruschetta. Both awesome. We then ordered salads, which were quite large and should have shared one, but they were both delicious. We then ordered bolognese and scaloppine limone. Amazing sized portions,... More

I enjoyed a business dinner last night at Toscano. The pastas were delicious and the swordfish was excellent. They have a long list of specials each night apparently and many of those sounded intriguing. Nice wine list-- mostly Italian. Good service. Great location below Beacon Hill. I will go back. I didn't have it but everyone raved about the gnocchi.
