We tried Toscano on a cold January night. It was the ultimate cozy, Italian restaurant and really did make you feel like you were in Italy. Lots of woods, warm tones and interesting sconces created a welcoming tone. The service was friendly and professional. Not too over the top but there if you needed anything. It was hard to choose... My family went here for a dinner. Food was delicious. Wonderful ambiance but the waiter, Travis, had a real attitude. He actually ruined the dinner. Very upsetting to spend so much money and feel as if this waiter did not want to tend to us.

If you haven't been and love Tuscan-style (vs. Southern or farther-North) Italian cuisine then this place is an absolute must in Boston! The wine list, albeit pricey for a mid-range collection of wines, is fantastic and beautifully organized by the region and the grape variety. Apparently, you also can count on the vintage to be listed correctly showing proper attention... More

We went with the whole family on a Friday night and it was great. We had meatball appetizer and grilled vegetables which were both excellent. For dinner we had ravioli, seafood spaghetti and a caprese salad. Everyone was very happy with their food and it was perfect. We also had a nice wine recommendation from our waiter as well. We... Saw this restaurant while walking on Charles street and the beacon hill area looking at the Christmas decorations. Walked in and asked if there was a dress code cause we had been walking all afternoon and it was snowing and raining and we had no reservations !! The host said we were dressed fine and he could seat us right... More

We had dinner at Ristorante Toscano this past Sunday. Very nice setting with very good customer service. When we were first seated, we were given a table next to a very large group of 16. The noise level was bad. I asked the hostess if she could move us to another table away from the noise. She moved us without... More

The staff here is friendly and attentive. We made a last minute impromptu decision to dine at Toscano. They took a reservation for a Saturday night 30 minutes before the requested time; very accommodating! Each dish that we ordered were just right and delicious. The pistachio gelato was delightful; the portion is individual portion, so each person should order their... More

Great leafy salad with various olives- fresh and plentiful. Perfect service. Water glasses always refilled. Gluten free spaghetti option. Who's who sort of clientele. Understandable - food and service is consistently reliable. Worth a stop followed by a stroll through this historic neighborhood. A window seat is always a plus on a pretty day.

A very popular place that requires call-in or OpenTable reservation. We were able to get a 5PM early Sunday dinner reservation. Other open dining slots seem to be for late evening. Friday and Saturday require must prior reservations. We were not disappointed in our choice. We received a warm greeting and prompt seating at a table in the back of... More
