I ate at Papa Razzi with a group of colleagues who were in town for a conference. I enjoyed my meal, but a couple others felt the food was mediocre. I'd rate the service as excellent and if you like to make modifications to what's offered on the menu, this is your kind of place.

Bruschetta and Ravioli was very good. Very good service and a cosy restaurant for couples. The apple strudel was great with ice cream.

Very upscale feel and superb service. Good for romantic meals. We came during afternoon tea so just ordered a ravioli and dessert. Both were good.

Lovely Italian restaurant in Newbury street, ate there with a group of five , we share all sorts of Italian dishes, and enjoyed them all. Good wine, good food, good company.

I have eaten here 4 times and found it very good. The food is excellent but in cold weather if you are near the windows upstairs it is very cold. The cold wind comes whistling through the thin window panes. We were trying to find a table away for the noisy guests at other tables upstairs and therefore had to... More

Great food at this Italian restaurant. There is plenty of choice on the menu and the service was first class. My only concerns are the noise levels on the upper floor and the drafts from the bay windows if you sit near them on a cold day. Otherwise there is a lot to enjoy and commend at this lovely restaurant.

We were in and out within an hour before the theater and the food was excellent. We ordered beef carpaccio, caesar salad, chicken piccata and veal piccata and everyone thought their selections were very good. Obviously, the service was very prompt. Mosaics in Women's Room are beautiful.

We had a wonderful late lunch at Papa Razzi's Newbury St. location. I suppose this is a chain restaurant, since there are many, but the quality of our meals was excellent. Following a fresh Caprese salad, I enjoyed the Quattro Formaggi pizza. Mrs. Gyr pronounced the Cavatappi Affumicati pasta entrée to be excellent. A reasonably priced but lovely bottle of... More

We were extremely pleased to get a table without a reservation on Saturday night, they sat us down right away without a wait. Our food also arrived really quickly. Also loved the atmosphere, it was very stylish and the decor was beautiful. The meal was delicious, we were all happy to have some of our favorite Italian dishes including chicken... More

Had dinner here Xmas week and was presently surprised! The food was amazing and the service was very good. The restaurant was full with locals and also tourists. I loved the veal parmigiano and caprese salad. Located on Newbury street it is a short taxi ride to many of the upscale local hotels in the area. Recommend calling ahead for... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
