undubatibly the best bloody mary I have ever witnessed/inhaled. City Table has the most amazing staff, our drinks and breakfast arrived incredibly fast and they were extremely attentive to our group. We had 19 people with us and everyone extremely impressed with the level of service and quality of food and beverage. Without a doubt the best breakfast spot in... More

We stopped in on a Sunday before leaving Boston and they were serving brunch. The menu all sounded delicious and the food did not disappoint. We sat a the bar which wasn't all that comfortable but fine and we were in a bit of a hurry. On the down side, the service was a little slow and the bartender had... More

I didn't go here to eat, just wanted to have a glass of wine and relax. City Bar was full of youngsters so went to City Table instead and was able to have my wine in a quiet atmosphere. I love the Lenox and hope to stay here one day. Beautiful lobby and building.

Ate here one evening we were staying in the Lenox and didn't fancy venturing far after a manic few days. Restaurant is nicely decorated and was busy, with a good atmosphere. I had bouillabaisse for main which was fantastic and my wife reported her filet mignon was excellent as well. Asked the server if they had any gluten free desserts... More

staff very professional, friendly. City table is certainly convient to hotel guest. Very nice appointmentsand ambiance. While the food was well served I was disappointed that it wasn't better quality. Food doesn't match the elegance of the hotel. French fries would embarrass McDonalds.

I had the fruit plate instead of the tempting more protein-based options my neighbors had, which looked fabulous. Tasty coffee. I sat at the bar and wanted to give a shout-out to efficient, courteous Michael, who made a breakfast alone a lot friendlier and more enjoyable. Thank you. Sunday morning it was packed but still quiet - which I love.... More

We ate breakfast at this restaurant twice, as we stayed at the Lenox, and both times were impressed. The eggs Florentine are to due for (I substituted avocado for the ham). My husband loved the pancakes. Service is good and thee portions are very generous. Prices aren't cheap but are reasonable.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
