One in our party was vegan; he was very happy to find ravioli stuffed with vegetables and it was delicious; the vegetables were not bland. They also served vegan bread. We have been to Terramia before and overall they offer very good Italian food.

My wife and I went here for dinner last night to end the Holidays. This is a great place to eat. It is quiet and romantic. We both had the tasting menu. I highly recommend this North End eatery.

Just went here before Christmas. I was really disappointed with the overall experience. We were seated right in front of the door when there were several other empty tables open. Which you would feel the cold draft coming in. The food we ordered took a very long wait. It was way way over priced for the amount of food served.... More

My wife and I were in Boston to attend a concert at TD Garden. We chose Terramia because of its location and great reviews. We arrived at the time of our reservation and were immediately seated. It's a small place so we are seated next to another couple. Perhaps not the best arrangement for a heart-to-heart conversation but we would... More

This restaurant was touted as the best Italian restaurant in Boston on social media sites I checked but I would only go so far as to say it was very good. Sort of a small bistro setting along a busy, narrow street within walking distance of Paul Revere's house and other Freedom Trail sites in the vicinity. Quaint feeling with... More

We chose Terramia based on reviews that the restaurant accommodates gluten-free menu needs. Unfortunately, it was just the typical gluten-free pasta offering and little else (no gluten-free bread, no dedicated GF menu, no extra care from the staff). My stomach was off after the meal so I suspect I may have been exposed. The mista salad was very fresh and... More

Pleasant evening with satisfying meal of well-cooked and fresh ingredients; good stable range of Italian standards, with friendly service in a comfortable room. Prices standard for Boston North End.

What can I say? Two poeple with tip was $136.36 with a couple of glasses of wine. Food? Average. Pasta overcooked.

Like many restaurants in the North End, Terramia has tight quarters which makes it nice and cozy. It can get noisy because of the space. However, the food and service are very good. Made a reservation which I would recommend. We had the Spinach Salad which was excellent as well as the Octopus(thinly sliced octopus which was delicious). The main... More

We were happy to find a table for four on a busy Sunday evening. The restaurant is small and cozy but we did not feel crowded at our table. We had found the servings in Boston to be quite large, so we limited ourselves to two shared salads and an entre each which was just right as far as quantity.... More

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
